My name is Tex and my group is currently playing Dungeon Crawl Classics and looking for 2 more players. We play every other Saturday at 1 PM Central. Sessions run 3 hours long. The next session is on 2/13. We use Discord to talk. This game has a very loose narrative and is mostly propelled by the players. Death count is high in this system and the tone is cartoony. Each player starts with 4 randomly generated level 0 characters and does their best to keep them alive while gaining xp for each one. Don't worry though because you have plenty of opportunity to recruit new level 0 characters as the game progresses. Just don't get too attached! The story so far... You are a peasant living in a Viking village called Hirot. You may just want to live the simple life but unfortunately, the lands around you have become very dangerous and weird as of late. Elves, Dwarves, and Halflings assimilated to your way of life long ago but now vicious goblins, demonic entities, and even elder gods have found their way upon your unsuspecting village. A Demon Hound plagued your village for a few months, causing your jarl to call for a lottery in which the "winner" would be sacrificed to the Demon Hound in order to saturate his hunger. Several villagers (the other players) revolted against the Jarl and accidentally unleashed the wrath of an elder god which decimated the village further. With a new Jarl running things (a PC named Emperor Palpatune. See I told you the tone is cartoony!), the villagers have become nervous to say the least. With word of Hirot's misfortunes reaching the rival Viking factions, your new Jarl has called for a raid across the sea, hoping to boost your struggling economy. Requirements: Must have working mic.
