LFG D&D 5e prefer long term campaign

Player with 20+ years experience with D&D ranging from 2e to 5e. I am a older guy with plenty of free time and looking for a game to join. I would prefer 4d6 reroll 1s drop lowest for stat pools, variant races and add on modules allowed (Volo's, Tasha's, Xanathar's, Ravnica etc.). I would also like the game to be set firmly in D&D lore, not opposed to homebrew content as long as it remains within the existing lore of the world. I don't mind a small price tag included with play sessions but anything over 5$ to me seems a bit steep as the average TTRPG group would pitch in on pizza or someone would bring the beer. Plus this would help the DM who spent so much time crafting the story and encounters to expand their library of assets and reward them for the time they spent doing so. I also have  firm "DO NOT ARGUE WITH THE DM" policy. They have the final say in calls during the game time. Gary Gygax, the creator of the system once said " The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.". This is a thread for Apoc to find a game, hijacking it is rude. Apoc, can you clarify what you mean by 'not opposed to homebrew content as long as it remains within the existing lore of the world'. I ask because I am getting ready to start a campaign set in a homebrew world and I am not exactly sure if it would interest you.

When say not opposed to homebrew I mean things like campaigns entirely based off a anime series where there are so many changes to classes, races etc that is it no longer d&amp;d. Things like "The Drow are a kind a benevolent race that no longer have infravision and walk on the surface, their racial skill is now conjure cute puppies and they worship Reese's the god of candy", (Yes I actually had a DM on here do that) or "Rogues no longer are allowed to sneak attack", "Wizards need to make a spell save for their own magic do to the volatility of the world and may just explode when using spells"... Things like that. Some home brew is ok, a addition of a homebrew race, or a homebrewed god, even a world with it's own lore is fine as long as there is documentation of it. I don't like walking into a campaign completely blind and saying "My character was born in Waterdeep" and Waterdeep doesn't exist. I hope that clarifies what I mean by that.

Hello Apoc, I have a new campaign that's just about to get started in the Storm King's Thunder module (Only Homebrew and Rules added are to expand, not restrict sessions or just make it a dash more suspenseful/realistic) and yes, I follow all of DnD lore as a foundation of information. Games are Friday Nights at 6pm CST, first session is this Friday. Sessions are paid, only $5 to help cover costs of books and materials I buy for the campaign as well as my time.
