Heyo, name's Brandon, and I've a new campaign starting THIS Wednesday! Homebrew world, complete with some custom character options. Come find your place in Bymist!  The story starts in a small Pinegrove village, Needleburg, close to the base of the Goldspine mountains. Pinegrove is a region close to one of the planet's polar caps, and as such, is a mite chilly. Recently, the spring thaw came with a tremor from that area causing a crack to form in the cold earth. The turmoil revealed the buried ruins of a long extinct civilization referred to as "Ancient Dominion," or "Wildlings", depending on who you ask. Pinegrove, known for their elite ranger squads dedicated to fighting very specific threats, sent in a reconnaissance team... Who never returned. The hope is that some of the squad still lives. Each of you has been recruited, for your various strengths, and expertises, from outside the evergreen tundra that stands vigil against the mountain's threats, to hopefully be able to do what the initial squad did not. And as far as that is concerned, supposing it all goes well, Pinegrove's threats are currently many; they could do with more to help them beat back whatever encroaches upon these woods. For this is just one threat amongst many, and while they are suited to monster hunting, monsters RARELY make these sort of concentrated efforts, and the beginning of investigating the why's and how's stems from...
