Robotech and other Palladium games.

I have been trying to find people wanting to play Robotech, even planning to mix it with some TMNT and Rifts eventually.  I know the time might be an issue, really? Only 1 person?  I know 5e is the craze, but taking a break from waving wands and saving kingdoms.  I see several Rifts varients but nobody seems to be interested into doing something a little less "magical" to start with.  I hope someone finds this post and says "Man I could do with some gun fights and Mech combat.  Surviving in harsh environments while trying to find materials to make you a force to be feared.
Played robotech  it's good fun
Same, nothing like a good ol mech missile spam.
Thats if you even start with a Mecha.  I dont allow my players to start that well off.  They start as scavengers in the wastelands.
I didn't even know you could play a palladium based game on roll 20. haven't played much robotech but i am familiar with the palladium system through rifts. starting as a scavenger in the wastelands is right in line with rifts too.

Actually this is starting after the final assault, when all of the major governments have collapsed and the Unified Government is kinda a joke.  EBSIS is a threat, with Renegade Zentraedi and Anti-Unification groups roaming the wastelands.  Players will start roughly 2 months after the assault, digging themselves out of a bunker deep in California wastelands to find a changed World.
Interested.  This Southern Cross era?
Southern Cross is still being developed and trained.  They have a base but are not significantly used yet.  Once the RDF moves out, then Southern Cross takes over.  The players are starting after the Zentraedi assault that wiped out 70% of the population.  Southern cross officially takes over about 2 years after.
I should have mentioned more clearly that this NOT strictly and completely Robotech.  I am not running a heroes vs villains Robotech game.  I am running a Palladium mixed bag/Robotech game.  The starting zone is from Robotech, but there is TMNT, Supernatural, and yes(eventually) Rifts.  I want players flexible to changing situations. The good guys are not always so good.  The bad guys might actually be misunderstood, or changing their ways.  Also, if you can't commit to playing or the time schedules. then please do not bother to sign up.  Too many people wanting to join and then neglecting to show up or even make characters.
Oh I'm interested in that.  If it matches my schedule.  I've got a pretty good character concept in mind as well, but that depends on what saga you start in in Robotech.  Never did TMNT, but I'm a solid Rifts player as well.  BTS is okay, and I've done Nightbane and a little bit of Heroes.  Most fun, Ninjas and Superspies.  We played the bad guys in that game.  Lots of fun.  But I can commit to playing across the board.
Our time is 11pm CST on Tuesday.  Be careful when looking at Roll20 game conversion..for some reason it screws up for some people.
I would be down for that anytime. Been wanting to try out Robotech/Mecha games or even a Rift
I am too busy to play another campaign right now, but I played Robotech as one of my go-to games all through highschool (late 80's and early 90's), and even had campaigns on my ship in the Navy. Robotech is a great game with a lot of potential, particularly when up to half the party at any given time is supersonic and the rest are trying to pound ground to make every inch. Have fun with your game.   Anyone thinking of trying, definitely give it a shot. Advice, if you don't know how to handle a split party, games with interplanetary scopes might not be the best fit.   Honestly, if that is true or not, REF ("Invid Invasion" era) is a lot more fun for those who don't like military bearing, and feels a bit more true post apocalyptic.  Less like a true military campaign with a lot more player autonomy.  Macross is heavily militarized so a lot of following or breaking orders as enlisted, instead of making decisions without logicistic strategy or command roles dictating it. The Invid are also much more fun to run as a GM, while the PCs always want at least one Zentraedi in the party once they find out what they are.
I always wanted to play Robotech from Palladium. But could never find a group willing to teach me due to how complicated Palladium is. If you willing to teach I am willing to learn. I can play 11pm cst Tuesday but like to end around 3am Wednesday morning if ok?
I would be down for a Palladium game period.
It does seem difficult to keep people playing.  I have some that are dedicated to show up and others who join and are never seen or heard from again.  Is there a reward for the amount of games a person joins?
