Automatically assigning an imported character to the character's player

When exporting characters from one's Character Vault to a game in which one is a player, and the GM has enabled character imports to that  game , please can the character automatically come under that player's control? This saves the GM having to manually assign imported characters to players.
There is an API script that allows you to claim your character after import.  [Here]

Yeah, making this automatic would make ton of sense, or change it so the GM can decide whether or not it's automatic.

Yeah, agreed. I have tons of experience with this (I always allow Importing characters and my players do that regularly using Character Vault). So we run into this frequently.  I haven't found any good reason for the current state, I mean it's supposed to let the GM "approve" the character and retain greater control as GM, but as a practical matter it's never been needed in my experience, and has wasted a lot of time.  (The Player logs in & imports on Game Prep day, now they have to email the GM & wait for the GM before they can actually work on their character in the game). Having this automatically ON would be better. Unfortunately I do not have a free vote for +1 right now. I'll come back when another Suggestion is completed and closed that frees a vote.
