Please consider making future Roll20 games allow the import of characters (by players that have been invited to that game) the default setting when the game is created. This saves the GM a considerable amount of time setting up their game.
Yes, this is one among many other settings that would be great if we could adjust the defaults to, along with video/voice settings. And it does make sense to be turned on by default. Workaround A (only works with games not created with modules), is to create an empty Template Campaign Game, where you set the common settings you use, and then next time you're creating a new game, you instead go to the template game and copy it, rather than go to the "Create New Game" page.
