Introduction Hey. My name's Sol and I'm searching for six new players to join a brand new campaign starting soon. I've been running D&D games for several years now, and more recently I have been running Paid Games. Currently I have two parties, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, and each group play in my homebrew setting on the same time-line, meaning it's a living, breathing world. I'm comfortable running a weekday game anywhere from 4PM GMT until 2AM GMT (Finishing time). So if anyone globally is comfortable with that time bracket, feel free to continue to enquire. (For East Coast NA, we're talking 11AM EST earliest, 9PM EST latest. I'm an avid roleplayer, and I enjoy doing voices and accents for my characters (though I do not require my players to do that unless they feel comfortable). I'm also going back to University in the all to get my Ancient History BA and perhaps go into teaching thereafter. I also used to be a full-time livestreamer, but I have more recently started focusing on paid DMing alongside other things. I also started a new small project in the forms of a D&D YouTube Channel, if any of you are interested in checking it out, feel free to click the link: My YouTube Channel Current Groups: Saturday - Start time: 4PM GMT-9PM GMT - 1 slot available - Saturday Game Roll20 Listing Sunday - Start time: 4PM GMT-9PM GMT - 0 slots available - Sunday Game Roll20 Listing Weekday - Start time: Undecided - 6 slots available - Weekday Game Roll20 Listing Campaign Theme "The Heroes join a torn landscape which has seen better times. The Kingdom of Valoria, a Feudal-Imperialistic Nation, has ruled over much of Heimland for more than two hundred years. The current king, King Lothar IV, is old and dying, and a level of stagnation that has never been seen before is slowly starting to rot away at this world. Corruption and Greed stains the nobility, whilst poverty, ignorance, and plague destroys the peasant class. War with the Elves and Orcs have weakened communities, and many yearn for peace in this so trying time. With many men off on campaigns, a new class of commoner has appeared; the Adventurer. Adventurers have actually always been a thing, but in recent memory that have become something of more importance to society, whether that's capturing bandits, escorting caravans, or slaying monsters. Something big is coming towards Heimland, and only those with an aptitude for heroism will come out ontop. Will you be one of them?" I run Modular Adventures in this world, some that I've made, some that I've purchased online and use from other sources, which means you'll always get a high level of quality in story progression. I use a variety of maps, music, tokens, and systems to enhance your gaming experience, without taking away from your enjoyment. My world is completely sandbox, meaning that player can choose where to go and what they'd like to do. Be aware that my world does have master plots and a central tension, but it's up to you, the players, what you'd like to do and accomplish. I offer a variety of feats, skills, exploits, and powers to my players to make this experience one that is not so easily compared. I do have some homebrew rules, which can be discussed if interested in joining. I have an easy to read PDF with some homebrew rules that I find greatly increases the fun and player experience of my group/s. Magic is cooler and more interesting, combat is faster and more cinematic, and your characters are far more customisable in my games. My games are LGBTQ+ friendly, and welcomes adults of any age. Creating Your Character All players create their characters together in Session 0, with me the Dungeon Master present. You will be permitted to roll your stats, and take a few perks and benefits based on what race/class you decide to play. Players are encouraged to use the Life Events under Xanathar's Guide to Everything to create fluid, interesting characters without too much or too little paperwork. These life events offer players perks and boons, such as extra starting gold, an interesting plot hook, or even their own fresh riding horse at level 1. All of my players, old and new, love rolling events, as it can make for some truly interesting, wacky, and wonderful characters that the players can then write their backstories for. This world is Human-Central, similar to Matthew Colville's world, and focuses more attention on a number of races, rather than spreading out over many. The race options are listed below: Human (Vandals) Human (Valorians) Human (Pharonese) Half-Elf (Alfaran) Dwarf (Nords) Dwarf (Ancient Dwarves) Halfling (Little Folk) Half-Breeds (Half Orcs) Payment My games are currently priced at $15 per session, with sessions lasting anywhere from 3 to 5 hours depending on the player's schedules. Session 0 is free, and I have no problem with players wanting to wait to see how the first session was before deciding to pay or not. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Applying Make sure you meet the requirements in order to join this game before applying: Aged 18 or over. Willing to play for 3-5 hours per week. Own a microphone of decent quality (no stutter, background noise, etc). Have Roll20. Have Discord.
