Introduction and Campaign Description Hello all, I'm Sol, I'm in my mid 20s from the UK, and I'm looking for new players for my various campaigns. I'm running a Swords & Sorcery Campaign positioned in an expansive continent named Heimland. This land mass is mainly governed and ruled by one imperial faction, who are known to many as the Valorians. These Valorians are easily comparable to the Late Roman Empire, or the formation of the Empire of Francia, ruled by Charlemagne in the 700s, and because of this reference, it's easily assumed that this land is full of conflict, and you wouldn't be wrong. The Valorians drove out the Elves and other men, and the Dwarves succumbed to marauding orcs to the south. The adventures I am running take place during the steady decline of Valoria, and reflects on all the various central tensions that this world has. A lot of my adventures are typically centred around exploring lost ruins, battling through monstrous lairs, and overcoming great evil in order to triumph. As my world is low-fantasy, it's worth mentioning magic. Magic is rare in my world, and those who wield it are amongst the very few of their kind. Many of these figures come from ancient bloodlines, or are presumed to have descended from various beasts and gods. Current Games & Opportunities Sunday - " Shackles of the Past" - Starts at 11AM EST & Ends at 5PM EST - 0 Slots Available - Roll20 Sunday Listing The Sunday Group is tackling the central tension between humans and elves, and trying to find out what truly happened all those years ago between the two parties. An ancient evil is prophesised to return to the land, and it may be up to the party to thwart him. This campaign is full of politics, mystery, and adventure. Saturday - "Struggle for Karrator" - Starts at 12PM EST & Ends at 4PM EST - 1 Slot Available - Roll20 Saturday Listing The Saturday Group have enlisted their services for the local lords to assist them in taking back lost land from the Orcs to the East. During their adventures, they have found tombs, temples, and various ruins that belonged to the Dwarves of Karrator long ago. In this campaign, Dwarves and Humans are the Name, Killing Orcs & Goblins is the game. A very exciting adventure and campaign for a Dwarf-Loving Player. Wednesday - "Undecided" - Starts at 6PM EST & Ends at 9PM/10PM EST - 2 Slots Available - Roll20 Weekday Listing This group is in the process of getting started. I've spoken to the three current players already and we have scheduled a Session 0 in the next week or so. We're looking for more players to join an exciting, fresh campaign. The players have not fully decided what they want to do, or play, but all talks so far have led us towards the idea of a Monster Campaign, specifically with many of the players playing Orcs or Goblins, looking to take the fight to the Valorians. If you want a new experience with an experienced DM and a great group, reach out. What I'm offering I'm offering a different experience in comparison to a majority of DMs on this forums. Different isn't always better, but I plan to run you a tailored experience in an interesting, expansive homebrew setting, rather than following a pre-written module. I'm offering you the opportunity to play with a passionate, invested dungeon master with a vested interest in the world he is running games in. I make YouTube Videos, and livestream my Sunday Campaign every week. Here is the link to my channel: Solmund's YouTube Channel I use a variety of maps, music, and tokens to add visual effects to the games I run. I have a number of homebrew rules that I have introduced into my games in the past year that have made my games so much better. These rules will be discussed if you enquire. As I mentioned before, I want to offer an experience that is different from what most people are doing currently. My games are LGBTQ+ friendly, and welcomes adults of any age. Payment My games are currently priced at $15 per session, with sessions lasting anywhere from 3 to 5 hours depending on the player's schedules. Session 0 is free, but the first session does cost money to join. I do have an archive of previous sessions of how I run my games if you'd like a taster of how I play before joining! :) Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
