Low levelled players welcomed! A messenger from a village in the southern Ettinheights has come, claiming that a strange breed of plant has begun to make life difficult for them. Not only is it choking out their famous budo flowers from which many of them earn a living, but rumours of a strange cult springing up in the town have the citizens on edge. A reward of priceless budo flowers and 50 gold pieces per person is offered to any group willing to trek into the Ettinheights and deal with this floral problem.
Sounds good to me! I’ll confirm character closer to the game!

Ok, so Elphim is on a mission and won't be back in time for this.  Ghargh is available but a first-time adventurer & Stonehide Trollkin Barbarian.  We already have a Trollkin Barbarian in the group. Will having 2 of us hurt the quest?  Ghargh has no problem sitting this one out if it's better for the group.  It's bunny season and he can play in the fields with the bunnies.

Go for it
Bimble Nimblehands Gnome Artificer would like to join.  :)
Curse your sneakiness Bimble! Sending me to the bar while you signed up first for a change!! Gimble Nimblehands, SUPERIOR Gnome Artificer will also join!!
Did we have any preference on "in game" time for this?
SoapBar said: Did we have any preference on "in game" time for this? I personally don't, its mainly if people want their characters free for other quests.
If there's still a free spot, I'd like to sign up Linh (Level 2 Spiritfolk Kensai Master of the Unseen Hand)
OK, so it's in the southern Ettinheights so I figure at least 3-4 days hike to get there... I suggest this starts ASAP? 30 Highsun or 1 The Fading maybe?
Just an FYI that Gimble is now actually Lvl 3! Thanks to an RP bonus and session write up

The Amazing Adventures of Gimble Nimblehands: Part Two Dawn breaks and the sunlight illuminates our hero… ME! The Amazing Gimble Nimblehands… ready to tackle another impossible quest that other mere mortals quake in fear at the sheer mention of…   (this is better… still need to work out the right way to start the story…) Facts Party: Gimble - Leader, Most intelligent and skilled member of expedition Lippy - Trollkin 1. Probably pretty dumb Ghargh - Trollkin 2. Also probably pretty dumb. Seems to like bunnies   3.0 - errrrr fascinating construct(?). Clearly not a Bimblebutt build as she seems very competent. Must try to find out more (without staring) Linh - Still blind? Still not sure she knows where she’s pointing that blade! Lizzie - eco warrior and hippy Bimble - Dumber than a pair of trollkins Setting out NW we soon got lost. Curse these incompetent buffoons! Our camp was attacked by cannibals in the middle of the night! Honestly, I think we might have been better placed going them Bimblecile and all going our separate ways. After I led us to victory, that idiot decided that was the time to start tinkering and produce a rickety bucket of bolts that he had the gall to name M.O.M.! Honestly, there is so much wrong with him!! Not least his insufferable need to be the centre of attention. People stopped listening to my important battle summary and tactical advice session to look at his ramshackle nonsense! Except Ghargh , who was more interested in seeing if there were bunnies around. Maybe he is smarter than I gave him credit for? Sharing a tent with him, I’ve come to realise he’s a kind and protective sort who is happy with his place as my intellectual inferior - he’s like the brother I never had!!! Fucking…. Giant…. Trolls…. ! A lesser gnome may have soiled their armour at the sheer sight! Almost certainly given away by Bumblehands ’ clanking machine, we were spotted by a huge Troll called Ignacius. Lippy rather luckily managed to persuade it not to eat us and then I managed to silently construct a plan and communicate it to him without anyone noticing. We could get the Troll to guide us to Budo. It worked flawlessly thanks to my brilliance (and Lippy ’s acceptance of the plan without questioning or fighting where the idea came from) Arriving at Budo, we witnessed an angry mob of people. I instantly recognised this given my experience with angry mobs - people just do not seem to understand “science”. While they moaned at the leader, the square came under attack from a bunch of plant like creatures. Time for me to shine (again) as I revealed my magnificent cannons and proceeded to rain terrible blasts upon these twigs. The Trollkins performed wonderfully to keep some of the weaker foes from distracting me too much, while the fascinating 3.0 fired some sort of mechanical bolt (do they come from “inside” her? Are they her “babies”??). Linh swung away (blindly) and managed to somehow take down many enemies. The embarrassing contraption Bum-ble built somehow managed to block several attacks totally accidentally but a bush nearly stole away with Lizzie but Ghargh and Lippy were able to rescue her after 3.0 shot it! Success for almost all of us! It appears the creatures have developed a taste for druid. They attacked us in the night and the brave Lizzie succumbed to her wounds - but more on that shortly. I was awoken by one of these plants attacking me like a coward!! I heroically managed to scream out for help and probably saved Ghargh ’s life (among others) with my selfless act. Who knows how many enemies would target me for this tactical brilliance? Meanwhile, the other rooms had also been attacked! From what I can piece together, Bumblebutt had slept through the whole thing and I’m pretty sure this is how Lizzie died. Don’t think they were in the same room but it feels like he’s probably to blame. That “wound” on his head doesn’t fool me! Lippy and Linh were still in the fight and dealing serious damage to the enemy but it was 3.0 who truly saved the day (probably something I did… need to emphasise my tactical brilliance to keep her in a safe room? workshop this..) as she burst into rooms healing some and firing off bolts and electricity!! We managed to stop any other plants escaping and can already see signs of the taint ( 3.0 seems to trigger on that word - must investigate) fading. I managed to convince the mayor that the whole party should be praised, no need for jealousy to sprout because of my natural superiority! He gifted us each with a Budo Petal, which will need painstaking research to figure out the full effects (maybe see what Bumbley does with his?) We buried poor Lizzie in a beautiful setting. The whole party was suitably sad (and probably blaming Bimbley too) but it appears that the druid’s spirit has made it’s way into a bush. Lippy has quickly scooped her up and is caring for her now! Still no response from those publishing houses I sent my manuscript for “Part One” to. My guess would be that the postal service here is unreliable and that’s what’s stopping the book deals flooding in. I wonder if I should bypass them altogether and self publish? That way I can ensure “editors” don’t try to change the truth of these adventures…
