Does anyone still play WoD Mage: The Awakening?

I've been looking around hoping to find something and I don't know if it's my luck or what, but I never find Mage games on here. It's a shame because it's one of my top 2 favorite WoD splats. I mean, I'm in no rush. I just like knowing if I'll have any luck when I finally have some free time.

You'll see more old WoD than new, and among the new, Mage isn't as popular as Vampire, I think. It's one of those things where you may need to volunteer to be the storyteller to get it off the ground at all.

dang. well I guess I'd better study up then. because I've never been an ST before. I don't know why it isn't popular. it's not so complicated once you understand the basics.

Has nothing to do with complexity. Rather, the WoD has a loyal fanbase that never wanted the new WoD, for the most part, and it doesn't really fit the gaming Zeitgeist of recent years. As a result, almost no one new was recruited, and the player base of new WoD is thus tiny.

hm, interesting. It's a shame too because I got into the new WoD first.
