[LFDM][5E][Sunday][12PM EST] Two friends looking for DM willing to host long running campaign.

Me and my friend of mine are looking for a DM who is willing to host a nice game of D&D for us. We're both around 22-24 years old. We're both pretty chill, and can get along with pretty much everybody. We'll have other players join in as well, but that can be discussed. We're looking for a nice, simple adventure. A call back to the older days, when every world wasn't immediately in mortal peril. A classic tale of magic and adventure, a game where you go around, saving small towns, fighting wolves, maybe hunt a witch or two - And go to the pub afterwards. Fighting more dangerous things as you grow in experience.  Preferably, this would an RP, character and story focused campaign. And a long running one at that. We wouldn't mind playing the same campaign for a couple of years. A game you can have a bit of fun in, but where there's also enough to thoroughly invest yourself into.  We'll be using Discord for communications. If this sounds like the kind of game you'd like to be a part of, feel free to sign up below. I'm going to need you to fill in a couple of questions, and after that we (the group and the DM) can have a little chat to talk about your expectations and that of the groups to see if we're a match.  If you're offering us a paid game, thanks, but no thanks.  (We love a homebrew world with lots of love put into it, which we will reciprocate.)  Name/Age: Experience DMing/Playing TTRPGs: What kind of game would you like to run? (RP-combat ratio, what style of fantasy, tell us a bit about your world.): What do you expect from your players: What would your ideal group of players look like: What about TTRPGs do you enjoy most?:
Name/Age: liam 32 + pippa 31 (husband and wife) Experience DMing/Playing TTRPGs: 12 hours being DM.....3 quests learning rules and how to dm! (Side kick for wife) ON ROLL20. Twice aka 2 quests in person on a table top..../ none other than d&d5e but have always been into fantasy and used to role-play on site called enchanted.  What kind of game would you like to run? (RP-combat ratio, what style of fantasy, tell us a bit about your world.): Equil parts rp and combat however it has been slightly railroaded as been playing dragons of icespire adventure (also have the add ons for long running) I allow weird and crazy roll playing but definitely try to rp back to bring characters back to what needs to be done. (Very rarely do i have to stop rp and explain i need players to go somewhere in particular. As time goes on I may even get more comfortable letting side rp happen. And make up on spot rp moments that may even side track so far from the quests ect that you end up on the moon when you only ment to go shopping for bread.  What do you expect from your players: be flexible and understand dm has a lot of things and may edit rules and such to make the story fun and run more smoothly. Allow each other time to rp and by all means go crazy i will always be very honest if you can or can't do something so ooc ask 4 sure.  What would your ideal group of players look like: there is no ideal group there is no bad group, long as everyone plays and accepts DM final word (had few argue for 10 mins coz I edited a rule once funny part was i did it to save them from being squashed by an op monster level 3 challenge on a 2 party level 1 group. (No pleasing some!)    It really left a sour atmosphere and killed the momentum. Would ideally like group who don't always go/copy same combat strikes that worked so great...let's mix it up!  Rp and adapt there attacks and discussions within the group on how best to approach things. Maybe you don't even have to fight!  What about TTRPGs do you enjoy most?: Group dynamics and friends and ! Simple
