Sign me up! I’ll confirm character once I’ve worked out which one is available
Me too, let you know what character closer to the date
Yes! I'll definitely have one available, just not sure who is best suited yet
Gimble the lvl 1 Rock Gnome Artificer will help with the ear counting...
Put me down I'm not sure who's available until it's up on the game calendar
I want to sign up MY rock gnome artificer as well.  :)
Ayla D. said: Put me down I'm not sure who's available until it's up on the game calendar  Can this one getting added to the calendar, Soap? I think we've got three TBDs at the moment haha
Chem, Level 1 Dhampir Fighter
This one is on the calendar now, Ayla. Looks like it clashes with quite a few missions!
I can move it if needed - I just started here in case people wanted to do this before some others out there...
That 500gp sounds like its out of a level 1's pay grade. Teres level 3 thief Rogue will go out. She'll be back just in time for the Abandoned castle.

The Amazing Adventures of Gimble Nimblehands: Part One What a fascinating adventure! Dawn breaks and the sunlight illuminates our hero… ME! The Amazing Gimble Nimblehands… (hmm not sure where to go next… I’ll come back to this!) Facts Party: Gimble - Leader, Most intelligent and skilled member of expedition Teres - sub-Leader, may let her feel she’s in charge to boost confidence, somewhat pained expression most of the time, seems tough (stay close) Astra - Disturbing to look at, firearm skill is impressive Hector - Wild looking, doesn’t own a shirt apparently   Linh - Blind? Not sure she knows where she’s pointing that blade! Ida - Very big, many weapons, not totally dumb Bimble - Totally dumb We set out SW in the supposed direction of the Goblin village. Spirits are high as is to be expected in my amazing company. We found a farmhouse and I expertly slaughtered a pig for us. Bimble chased his into the swamp of course. Then “someone” found a pile of useless stuff to delay us pointlessly… Camp that night and of course they all wanted to know what I could make for them… clearly word of my brilliance HAS reached this corner of the world - although that’s hardly surprising! Astra wanted a gun… Bimble seemed interested of course, if he can reinvent the wheel I’d be surprised! (Side note, I have a great idea for a weapon that can fire bullets but can also do it silently… honestly, I surprise myself sometimes with my brilliance - how do I come up with these genius ideas??) Later that evening, we were ambushed by some sort of cousin of Ida? I managed to co-ordinate the team to effectively take it down but Astra seemed pretty injured so I figured I’d heal her before that Bimble cile (I just invented that pun!) messed it up somehow. Poor Teres seemed to have had her mind affected during the fight - at one stage, she seemed to be looking at her “big hands” and was petting her hair before she nearly burned her hair in the fire - it gave me horrible flashbacks briefly, but more importantly, I hope I haven’t misread her… maybe she’s just another witless, hair obsessed, dolt like Bimble ? Hector can turn into a wolf of sorts - it seemed useful in a fight ( but if I didn’t know better, I’d say all the fur was an attempt at a joke between him and Bimble at my expense - must watch out for this) Another night and yet more idiocy from Bimble bum - he seems to be “inventing” shears to help Ida with her toe nails… who would even buy such a silly contraption?   We found the village but it seemed like something had beaten us to it there were bodies everywhere although they still had their ears, so we simply gathered those up. As we explored further, we were viscously attacked by some hidden, sneaky Goblins. I managed to coordinate from the back well until my own cursed heroism led me to push a little too far forward and I caught an explosion to the face that partially blinded me. (Side note: I have a great idea for some sort of blinding firework - I’ll work on this later!) My sight came back quickly (my resilience might be another amazing characteristic?) and I found chaos reigning. I healed Ida as the poor girl seemed to be taking a nap in the middle of a fight! Bimble had gone the wrong way (of course) and was shouting nonsense in the Goblin tongue he learned at school. Such a base and easy language to learn, I couldn’t even be bothered with it! I managed to call him back and then got him to heal Linh who had also collapsed. When I finally managed to catch up with the rest, I managed to turn the tide fairly quickly, despite some pushing and shoving of people trying to get around me? I then healed Ida (again) before Astra finished off the last of them out here. A quick rest and we pushed onto deal with the leader “Licktoad” (I can see why Bimble butt would be interested in these moronic creatures). This time, with the more intelligent approach that I suggested, we were able to overcome them pretty easily. Although I will also admit that the party fought together well, most of them are not without skill. Teres landing the killing blow. Even Bimble handled himself well - although obviously totally overshadowed by my brilliance. We found a map that points to a cave (and treasure) but I think it is a good time for us to head back and assess our next steps. I have ideas I need to work on! Although I already have several prototypes rockets that I knocked up on the way back. True they are somewhat similar to the ones we saw used in the village, but with my adjustments and string tightening, they are surely superior now… Just detailing the FACTS has impressed upon me just how special and uniquer my talents might actually be… I wonder if I should serialise my adventures so people could enjoy reading them? Maybe I can find a scribe (or bard) to tell my tale, I would obviously write a superior account but it would free up my time to focus on some of these new ideas… something to ponder at least!

22 Highsun I started to this job way too hungover. I got stuck with this babysitting gig as punishment from the Major, he said something about about drunken disorderly conduct and loitering (I don't know, I wasn't paying attention ). Anyway I now had to contend with a bunch of fresh faced newcomers - except for Astra her face was not fresh at all. And this guy Hector, hasn't he heard of wearing a shirt?  I couldn't complain for very long. We found an abandoned farm with two plump pigs ripe for the slaughter. Gimble (or was it Bimble ?) Killed one and harvested up a tasty looking dinner. We also found some wine! - It's like I never left the stuck pig! Traveling further southwest we camped by a nearby Grung village, keeping our distance. I had my evenings watch with Astra, I couldn't help but pry on her appearance and taste for raw flesh. I was genuinely surprised that she told be straight away that she was undead (if it were me I would have keep that information to myself). Who am I to judge though. She seemed like someone that I'd like to hang around with. She has a cool gun and offered to get high with her (I'm not much into drugs, but I couldn't say no). MY HAIR FELT AMAZING! I could have caressed it all night long, until a giant teddy bear came up and attacked us. I was later told it was a actually a ghoul.  23 Highsun We got lost today (fucking fog, someone better fix that). Thankfully Ida the Trollkin was able to track the goblins so we didn't veer too far off course.  24 Highsun We made it to the Goblin village. It looked like someone, or something had already gotten there and killed the goblins (easy pickings for us). We quietly scouted the area - except for Gimble and Bimble who couldn't shut the hell up about their sibling rivalry. It wasn't before long we stumbled across hiding goblins, then it was showtime. Aside from getting overcrowded on a walkway we flushed them out with the boss barricading himself in a room. After catching our breath, we went after the boss. The Imbecile brothers tried to make a distraction at the front door - ignoring the fact the was a perfectly good and unlocked back door that was could exploit. The newcomer's did well enough to keep the boss's lackey's off me so I could finish him off. These Goblin hoarded some good shit too. I can't help but keep the smile off my face carrying this gold. Time to buy myself a horse and prepare for this famous Mouth of Doom. I bet I could make a killing from that place.
Hahahahahaha - Momma Teres was attacked by a giant teddy bear :D

The Fantastic Voyage of Bimble Nimblehands : Chapter One What a fantastic beginning! A new day erupts with the excitement and resplendent rush in the air around Hope! It is high time for Bimble Nimblehands to show the world what he is made of! Details Adventuring Make Up Teres  - An experienced and capable warrior. I admire her skill and stalwart nature. I wonder if these traits are perhaps encodable upon certain behavioral preambles I have been working on. The superb permutations could lead to enhanced actions for my constructs. Hector  - Strange candor...He can transform into a hybrid wolf-human form. Must be some kind of lycanthrope. The transformation gives me inspiration! Perhaps my constructs can transform as well. I should add these to my designs. May take a little while to calculate... Astra  - Someone who appreciates the fine art of invention! I do so believe I could manufacture a way to make their instruments a bit more quiet. I'll be damned if that Gimblecile will beat me to that! Besides, his penchant for explosions I imagine would drag him at a disadvantage. Linh  - What a charming lass! A shame about their challenges to vision. I wonder if their could be a way to restore their sight? Perhaps I could construct a prosthetic eye? I shall start making notes and calculations for this. Ida  - Hmmm, what a wonder! A first for me meeting someone who is descendent from trolls. I wonder if there could be ways to enhance certain troll-like traits and qualities. Needs further study. They proved to be a mighty ally in battle. I wonder if I could make certain enhancements to their fighting ability? Gimble - What can I say? A waste of space? A hinderance to the group? Lord knows that their reckless nature will most assuredly cause commotion and calamity. Traveling Southwest of Hope I found a cache of useful items in a farmhouse. We took what we needed and left the rest for other would be adventurers to peruse through. Of course Gimblecile(I do not know why I have not taken to calling him this sooner. Something that will quickly be remedied.)would draw attention to whatever paultry discoveries they made. We were beset late in the evening. Some strange undead creature stumbled upon us. The group proved to be effective dealing with the trouble. Of course my brother couldn't be bothered to heal a downed ally...typical. The village upon our arrival seemed to had been raided by something or someone before us. We found several already slain goblins.Of course this was not all that were there. Quickly the goblins began to attack us. Of course I was the only one who could speak their language. Didn't anyone take Goblin as an elective in school? It is an extremely useful language to learn. Alas my poor brother could never be bothered to learn it. Pity that the goblins did not want for diplomacy. I worry that whatever had attacked the goblins still lay in wait. Whatever it was it did not reveal itself. We eventually fought the goblins back to their bunker. The door seemed to be barred from the other side. I suggested we make a distraction, which was of course an excellent plan! It enabled our compatriots to get the drop on Licktoad and his compatriots!  Hizzah!  The battle was won.  A shame that we could not keep one alive for questioning.  Whatever attacked them is still out there. The goblins used various explosive artillery that blinded some of my compatriots. Pretty rudimentary goblin technology. I studied with more advanced goblin engineers. My brother should really learn goblin. He could learn a thing or two....from even the most elementary goblin technology. He most certainly can benefit from their safety protocols. Although the ones we were battling were obviously not practitioners. Jumping Jubilex!!!! We found a map! I would much like to take a look at such a thing. I am sure my knowledge of goblin will come in quite handy. I will wait for others to contact me. I will not belittle my new compatriots with my intellect. Lord knows my brother will take care of that! No need for two Nimblehands to insult, even if they lack the acumen for logical reasoning. Apparently recording my voyage is inspiring further invention and modifications upon my designs. I think I will maintain a log and "capture" the truth of my experiences here. It would most certainly aid others in similar intellectual pursuits as well as possibly entertain a few people other than myself of course. I should make sure to keep my brothers prying soot covered fingers off of this record.
hahahaahahahahahha - love it you Bimblegit!!
Year Four, Day 67 I finally made it to the town of Hope, famous in the region for its plethora of adventurers and radical acceptance of different races and backgrounds. I approached warily in the evening and made my way into the Stuck Pig tavern to observe the atmosphere. I was shocked when almost immediately I was approached by a shirtless man who didn't seem to mind my appearance. I was even called "pretty" by some sort of small Troll . What is this place? On the one hand, it was fantastic to socialize for the first time in many months, but the Troll did put her feet right on the table, which was extremely offputting.  I noticed we are adventuring with two gnomes who seem to constantly bicker. I have to take deep breaths to remind myself that these adventurers on the edge of the world won't have the same professionalism and discipline as my old team, may they rest in peace.  But I've started from the bottom before and I'll do it again. If I can completely retrain myself in this new and rotting body, I can manage to get a bunch of unruly men and women to focus... hopefully.  I will say, being around so many living creatures for the first time since the accident is difficult. I could feel my stomach growl as the shirtless man sat too close. Eventually, I had to leave to clear my head. Thankfully tomorrow we will be outside where the smell isn't quite so intoxicating.  Year Four, Day 68  The Group of us set off bright and early after sunrise. As one accustomed to traveling under the cover of darkness, waking up at this ungodly hour was a struggle. The bright sun hurts my head and my poor eyes. I noticed I wasn't the only one struggling. The human woman Teres also seemed to despise the sun, although she also looked as if she'd had a bit too much to drink the night before.  The party consisted of myself, the human woman Teres , the gnome brothers Gimble and Bimble (honestly... who named them?), the small troll with bad manners Ida , the shirtless man Hector (so unnecessary), and Linh who appears to be blind? She seems capable enough though, and I'm not one to judge a person's misfortunes as long as they can contribute.  The group of us headed into the swamp and immediately encountered the mists, which have an unnerving quality to them. I've never experienced any mist quite like this, not even when I lived underground.  Very quickly we found an abandoned farm that had already been looted through. We found some butchered pigs and scale strikes, and I suggested we butcher the other pigs since they won't be long for this world anyway. Besides, I was getting increasingly hungry and agitated at this point, and I didn't want to make a regrettable mistake, especially with those around me not dressed properly.  We explored the homes, finding a dead lizardfolk in one of them. It looks as if some sort of battle or raid took place here. The others looted some supplies and treasures found in the house. Personally, I decided not to take anything except a rope ladder. I'm not in the habit of taking money and irreplaceable items from innocent people who may not be dead or may have family members to inherit them. If I find that these people are not dead, I will be sure to return the rope ladder to them. I thought about saying something to the others about not taking the items, but as a new member of the group, I didn't think it wise to stick my neck out just yet... metaphorically of course.  About 24 miles South of Hope I spotted a stilted village in the distance. It appeared to be a village of frog folk. We deiced to give it a wide berth as to not cause any trouble or confusion. That night we made camp not too far from the goblin village. I managed to take my portion of raw meat before anyone had a chance to salt and cook it, and I ate it by myself off in the dark... I hope no one noticed me eating it. How embarrassing. The others seemed very fascinated by my pistol, especially the gnome artificers , and Linh , who wanted to touch it but was afraid of the loud noise guns make. I even had a great conversation with the artificers about a potential silencing contraption.  I was on watch duty with Teres , who I quite like. She has beautiful long brown hair that makes me pine for my old hair... before the accident. At first, Teres started firing questions at me about my appearance, which to be honest, made me feel like absolute horse shit. I know that I'm ugly, but it hurts to have people acknowledge it. Especially when those pointing it out are much more appealing than you.  But after a while, we seemed to bond a little. She offered me some ale and I offered her a few redflower leaves. I don't think she'd ever experienced them before because they seemed to have a strong effect on her. She kept touching her hair, almost to rub it in.  But on our watch, we were attacked by a horrible swamp monster! It almost completely incapacitated me in just a few blows, and I had to run for cover, drawing my gun. I managed to get a few great hits in on him before we finally took him down.  Year Four, Day 69 We approached the goblin camp just after dawn, and Hector , Teres , and I decided to sneak through the front gate to get a better look. It seemed like the camp had already been attacked. There were dead goblins and skeletons everywhere, and even a pile of freshly burned bodies. We crept around the camp trying to find any sign of living goblins, collecting ears as we went.  Someone noticed that the creatures who attacked the goblins (possibly the skeletons) appeared to arrive in the camp through a large pond instead of the front gate. The goblins, trying to escape, knocked the gate down from the inside! The dead skeletons all had fancy swords called Wakizashi, and I decided to take one of them for myself.  The group of us all wandered around the goblin camp until we finally ran into a live goblin. We tried to negotiate with it, but it started attacking us. Then, hordes of goblins came running through the camp to get to us. With no clear plan, we were sitting ducks along a long corridor. It was impossible to see where they were coming from, and I got hit pretty badly with an arrow very early on. I spent the entire fight barely conscious, so to be honest, it's kind of a blur, but I do remember immense frustration at the lack of a coherent plan. People would run off and get shot down, and we'd have no idea where they were. The Goblins had an advantage knowing the lay of the village, and we were at a disadvantage in that horrible hallway. I hope that this will be something that improves with more team training.  Thankfully, we put an end to all of the goblins without one of us perishing. I feel like it was an effort of brute strength and sheer resilience, rather than a genuinely tactical mission, but I have to remember that these others may not have the professional training I've experienced. Finally, we make our way to the big goblin boss after a quick rest to heal up. One of the artificers Bimble has a brilliant idea to put a noisy music box near the front door as we climb up the ladder and enter from the roof. FINALLY a tactical plan! The final fight with the boss goblin was over very quickly due to our strategic approach, and thankfully we were all still whole after the encounter.  The group of us not only managed to collect many goblin ears for the reward, but we also found a very interesting map to a shipwreck and cave which may hold treasure. I'll have to see if any of this group would like to accompany me there soon. Maybe we can uncover the mystery of what happened here with the goblins and the undead. We shall soon find out.
