Improved Forum and Suggestion Pages Search

I've seen this idea dating back 8 years, but topics really should include the most recent post date for both forum entries and suggestion topics. In addition, maybe it's a bug but the "Search Suggestions & Ideas" does not search Suggestions and Ideas. It searches all topics without a sort filter (at least for me). This wastes a lot of time for people trying to both find solutions and make suggestions without duplicating other people's posts which can potentially divide votes. This way you could sort key word suggestions by date rather than seeing a post from 6 years ago for, say, a dynamic lighting eraser, and know there's not already a suggestion out there for it buried six pages in. It would make being able to use your votes easier.
+1.  Forum search is largely useless because it returns results in completely random order.  At least allowing a sort by date function would make it more useable.
