Hi there, I'm a DM currently looking for 1 or 2 more players for D&D 5E Lost Mines of Phandelver Adventure on Friday, Feb 19 at about 10pm CST. I'm trying to get a group together of about 3 players to start off and maybe I'll add more as time goes on. I've been a DM off and on since the 90's and super enjoy playing D&D. Most of my experience comes from 2nd and 3rd edition so I'm new to 5th edition but I really like the new rules. For anyone not familiar with the Lost Mines of Phandelver Adventure Module it is set in the Forgotten Realms setting and goes from levels 1-4. Of course if everything goes smoothly I will continue the campaign after that into something else. I'm definitely flexible when it comes to what kind of character you want to play and any playstyles you have. Reply if you are interested and I will send you the details so you can be invited. Thanks! UPDATE: MY PLAYER GROUP IS FULL NOW, BUT IF I GAIN ANY OPENINGS BY FRIDAY I WILL CONTACT THOSE WHO APPLIED LAST.
Hello! I'd be interested. I have a few months experience and have only played homebrews. I'd definitely like to play the modules set in Fearûn. I'm available every Friday at the posted time. Thanks!

Ironically most if not all of my experience actually comes from homebrews and I just recently decided to use the Forgotten Realms setting as I've always loved it. Glad to see you are available often, I'm itching to play as much as I can hehe. Anyways I am pretty new to Roll20 so I'm still figuring out how it all works, but I wanted to send you over to my application post on my game details page so you can reply to it some details about you and your character so we can get started easier. I will invite you into my game as soon I can, seems the option to invite players is sometimes near their names but sometimes not. Here is the link to my game details page on Roll20: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/278707/adventures-in-faerun-lost-mines

Thanks for considering me. I'll be sure to fill that out. I definitely do like homebrews-I think the happy medium for me is doing a long-term Homebrew set within Fearûn haha. Best of both worlds. There are some great people on here with really good experience who don't mind helping new DMs. Roll20 has a pretty short learning curve I'm sure you'll get the handle on it no problem. Hope to hear from ya.
If your still looking for players i'm interested! New to 5e myself and would like to join.

Hey, yeah, that's the timezone I've been waiting to see an opportunity to play in. I should be able to show up reliably for a good long while. You're also a roleplayer from my era (which sometimes makes a big difference from what sort of experience a person is looking for). I haven't had much experience with 5e but I played a lot in 3rd Ed and 2nd Ed will always have a place in my heart. The Lost Mines seems great as a starting point that can be used in ANY campaign setting and Faerun did nothing wrong... not really... I don't care what they say about Drow scimitar specialists ;) I'm capable of adapting to whatever seems to make sense for how a group dynamic works in way of playing style, but I really prefer a bit of character interaction and character development. I can make any kind of character but what seems most appealing to me usually seems to be along the lines of Warlock pacts. The immersion in that sort of situation is what I usually consider before party balance concerns or character stat optimization and such. As I said though: I'm very inclined to adapt; it's pretty difficult to get a campaign up and going and if yours does then I'll be inclined to value that more than opportunities to monologue. And for party balance I could maybe just take a Magic Initiate feat so I can Warlock while I do whatever. Send me a private message? Cheers.
I would love to play I have experience so can make a character rather fast and have plenty of time to play.
I am someone who has never played DnD before, but I've really had a strong desire to since I've started watching Arcadums DnD stream and began harboring a love for the game. I may require guidance to help me start, but I promise if you are willing to put in the time, I will be an eager student and will play and RP to the best of my ability.
i would love to play! have a huge interest in dnd and played b4 never on roll20 though mostly all in person homebrews
Thanks everyone for applying and your interest in D&D, I really appreciate it. I think i have a full group now, BUT if anything happens between now and Friday I will try to contact those here who didn't get a chance. Thank you!
