[LFP][D&D5e][FREE] Dragon of Icespire Peak Mini Campaign. SATURDAY (6pm PST/9pm EST)

Edited 1613618552
Welcome Adventurers (New & Old) Driven from lands farther north by more powerful dragons, a young white dragon named Cryovain has descended upon the Sword Mountains, claiming the snow-capped range as its domain. Typical of its kind, Cryovain is dim-witted and cruel. The dragon patrols the skies around Icespire Peak, surveying its territory while hunting for food and easy treasure. With each passing day, the dragon's domain grows as it ranges farther across the land, preying on anything it can catch with its claws or freeze to death with its icy breath. Sightings of the dragon are becoming more common, as are its attacks. Will you help defend the innocents? Bring peace back to this troubled land? Come in adventure...your future awaits! Mini-Campaign This will be a mini-campaign (4 sessions) where you will be playing with current players. We are looking for players that could be a good fit with the players in the main campaign. Chemistry takes time thus I'll be running this side campaign. It will give all players a chance to get to know each other more at the table which is the most important part of a long-lasting game. So, before inviting anyone straight into the main story we set this up. Everyone will make level 4 characters and level up to 5 after the final session. New players will keep their PCs and get imported into the main campaign which is set in the Storm King's Thunder module. About Me I have been running RPGs for over 25 years. I founded the GM Academy that has supported and taught a community of over 300 because I'm passionate about RPGs. My games have a very relaxed environment because this is our entertainment. Everyone at the table should be enjoying themselves. Though I do take my GM responsibilities very seriously and maintain deep and rich worlds for players to interact with. I've successfully run games with people from all types of cultures, ages, backgrounds, sexes, and so forth. I only care what kind of person you are at the table. Your personal beliefs and history are your own business and I respect that. Current player here. Excited to meet those interested. Here's an awkward book critic-esque review of our main campaign. :D Hope to see y'all in the mini campaign! Great writing. Great stories. GM Keaggan uses a customized Storm King's Thunder to paint a compelling world with conflicts and NPCs that allow for deep PC narratives. Sessions comprised of 70% RP, 20% combat, and 10% exploration allow PCs to develop how they form relationships with the world, the party, and themselves.
Another current player here! Come join us, we'd love to have you. We all did little thingies about why we all adore the GM and the game we're in. So here's awkward book critique #2: A longform game that uses Storm King's Thunder as backdrop to a party of deeply different adventurers who have come together cohesively to deal with demons inside, and outside of, the world's greater Giant problem. Backstories are woven directly into the game organically to create compelling conflict that affects the world at large. The group has a heavy focus on RP elements, striking a balance around 80/20 on RP:combat. The group is looking to add 1 or 2 more players to the party to meet some recent scheduling difficulties between its members, but wants to continue their tradition of found family. If you're someone who wants a cozy group to play with every week and you value character development above the dungeon delve, we'd love to meet you and welcome you into the cast.
Looking forward to meeting everyone who'd like to join us for this journey! GM Keaggan masterfully runs a story and character focused campaign, with players bringing awesome chemistry and RP chops. There's an excellent blend of action and character moments, with some sessions being entirely RP based. Either way, we all come together every week for a great time!
