I've been on this site since 2013 and have been a paying member for almost as long, and I have to say the paid DMs are ruining this site. It used to be only a couple of people expecting to be paid, but now half the games are pay to play. Worse than that, there used to be a mix of systems available for players but since 5E is the new shiny game and half the DMs expect to be paid that's 90%+ of the games available. The truly galling thing is the DMs who run pre-made WotC modules where all the work is already done and still expect to be paid $50 a month PER PLAYER to run a weekly session like it's an actual job. If people want to be paid to run a game, fine. If people want to pay their hard-earned money to somebody who's putting in barely more time than they are, fine. You do you. But if you actually made separate forums for paid and free games it would fix a lot of the problems.
