The Clan Divided

Dyrrn the corruptor was true to his name, tempting everyone with power, knowledge, and to join his collective. Luckily, the Natural Ones remained steadfast, even Gnipity didn't get tempted (at least he didn't seem to). The Soldarak Clan remain opposed to the Daelkyr, and I was proud to fight by their side. The battle was fierce, and Dyrrn wielded power unlike anything I had seen before. We defeated his minions, banished his Beholder, but held strong. Never before had I thought I would encounter a beholder, never mind be struck by 2 of its deadly eye beams and survive. Dyrrn however, proved more difficult. Luckily, backup had arrived, from Queen Mab, which I had never expected. We escaped and returned to the Demon Wastes, were the demon had Rakha'rjjt claimed to have resuced us. Rescued by Sedriss' sister, whom we thought dead. Clearly this creature is a malevolent force, but for now, she appears to be on our side. The portals claimed by the Quori have been reclaimed by the Daelkyr, and now we face a possibly greater threat in closing out these portals before the Daelkyr can invade. The Hag also claimed the Clan Soldarak has been taken over by my brother Thandrumir, sided with the Daelkyr, and leads a divided Clan. Though I am uncertain if the claims are true, it is important that the Clan remain united, and if there are those that believe I am the rightful ruler, then I must either prove them right, or prove them wrong. Either way, the matter would be settled. I would give my live for the Clan, and if my death unites the clan, then so be it. I have been given a challenge, to expand Soldarak territory, destroy a dragon, and bring back its head. Whatever the outcome, I pray the Sovereigns will let the Clan be strong.
We were able to escape Dyrrn with our lives. However it may have cost me my soul, I found out that Thanna has become a servant of the nighthag who bested us in the demon wastes, as has Sonn. I don't know what has happened to them, but they are not the people I remember. Thanna and me had quite an argument over the choice I made all those months ago. She said that I had stained my honor. Which I both believe and don't at the same time. I expect this is the reason I was court-marshaled and at some point I will have to go back and face the music. But until then I am going to doc everything I can to save my sister and my friend. We are currently trying to get thornduk to take command of clan Soldaric and are on a quest to kill a dragon in the Northern mountains. Dragons don't fill me with the same dread they once did. However I hope that we aren't about to kill an innocent dragon, as thornduks brother who gave us the quest is in league with some bad people. Anyway we will have to see.
