I really just want to play a game but...

with the lack of Skype I cant really find anyone to play with and I have no ability to access Skype at this point so i cant play with anyone....anyone have a way not to involve Skype so I can actually play a game?
Look for Text-Only/Chat-Only games, play by Post (PbP), or if your restrictions are strictly just Skype (is Google Handouts or Ventrillo an option or is all voice chat entirely out?). Alternatively (and I recommend this for everyone) Create your own detailed forum post to state what you're looking for, your gaming experience, date/time availability, time zone, etc... everything any GM needs to know about you to determine if you're a good fit to their game. Finding a quality game on Roll20 is just as arduous as finding a sit-down group. Try not to get discouraged if it takes a couple weeks to find something that suits your needs.

There are text based games, there are games that use google hangouts, and games that use the built in voice app on roll20.
thanks
Is it a problem with lack of a mic and voice communication, or just skype?
both really
That sucks although I understand people not wanting to use skype itself, unless its for some other reason i would buy a really cheap mic (people dont bite) and play that way, otherwise good luck to you :)
I do run a sunday text only game. Sadly we use skype as kind of an im-ing service/organization device. I'm sure there are other gms that do similar things that if you asked nicely would gladly let you in
