Can the X marker be changed? Color Blind player

I like big maps so the small token markers are sometime so small they are hard to see.  On the other hand the "X" is a very easy way to see when a monster has been killed.  Unfortunately one of my players is color blind and cannot see the red X.  Is there a way to change the color of the X or to make the some of the corner token markers bigger so they cover the token like the X does?  Thanks.

That would be so great, for accessibility and really for everyone's flexibility. I mean, both of those are good suggestions: Different colors for the X, and the ability of other Non-X status markers to cover the Full token size instead of just a small corner labeling object. Unfortunately no, I do not know of being able to do either of those requests in roll20 currently. The nearest thing available is "Custom Status Markers", a feature added about a year ago.  You can now make your own status symbols, or buy them in Roll20 marketplace, and add "Sets" of them to your game(s). The GM can add them on the Game Details Page.  I don't think the Custom Status Markers support any full-token-size marks like the Red X, unfortunately.  The good bit is you could choose whatever Color-Brightness-Boldness of markers you want, but they'd still be parked in a small corner/row of the token. There may be other work-around ideas, I hope someone else will post. You know about using AURAS on the Tokens, right? I use Aura (and the Aura visibility settings) to help me with visual accessiblity when zoomed out. To help me with token-finding as a visually impaired GM myself.
I have made a set of marker that are more intuitive than the standard set already and I could not figure out a way to make them cover the token either.  As for auras that is something I hadn't considered at all.  Thanks!  I'm going to play around with them now.
As an alternate option, you could create an 'X' token in a different color, set the background to transparent. If you link that special 'X' token as the represents token of a "Dead" character sheet, you can just drag that character sheet out (just like a normal token) then move that token overtop of your dead tokens. It would not be set from the condition radial menu of the token, but would have to be set manually. That should do what you want, and you can find out what color works best for your player.
There are two packs on the market you might want to have a look at, Animated Orbital Conditions 1 and 2.   With only a Plus account I'm not sure whether they will be animated or not for you, but they might work as static markers.  I don't use them as token markers as such I do't even know if they can be, but as tokens instead. There are small ones that go over the token, or larger ones that go around a token which is the option I use, they can still be a bit difficult to see when an area gets crowded, but they can help a lot.  I am partially sighted myself and find the standard token markers far too small to really be of any use, I've found these orbital ones a great help.  Two tips with them, set them to a size you want and then make a 'character' for them so you can drag them on to the map at the size you want them rather than having to change each time you use one.  The second is to send it to the back of the token it is surrounding, otherwise you can't sellect the token itself
