Hello, I am looking for a 5e game to join. I have been looking for a while now and have been finding it difficult as many games are not updated or those running the games do not respond to questions. I am making this post in the hopes of finding a game that I would enjoy. More specifically I am interested in an ongoing campaign which allows for some role playing and character interaction/development as well as a moderate amount of combat. I do not find 'evil' or amoral games interesting and would prefer to play a more heroic game. I am more interested in homebrew worlds but I would need at least some world building to have been completed (and available to the players) beyond a general description and a map. Homebrew rules, mechanics, classes or races are fine as long as they are not disruptive, punishing, unbalanced or cumbersome. I do not like overly grim, gritty or dark games. I don't mind some of those elements to be used but games focused on them would not interest me. That being said I am in my 40's and would like to play with people at least 20+ who are committed and mature. I do not need a professional or even an extensively experienced DM, just one with a passing knowledge of the game and an interest in providing a fun experience. I do want the DM to be interested in the characters beyond stats or class but I don't need to have personal storylines. To put it another way, I don't want to be an interchangeable sheet of numbers in a DM's story. Please no paid games. I am available mon, weds and sat all day. If this sounds interesting to you or if you have questions please direct message me and we can go from there. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
