Non Square Token's Alignment To Grid...

Another poster brought this up as a question and I think its a bug? :) I can't see this being how its supposed to work.  A token that is 1x2 units.  If you have it vertically 2 units by horizontal 1 unit it aligns to the grid.  But if you put it vertically 1 unit by horizontally by 2 units it aligns to the middle of a cell.  The "Horizontal" bear aligns wrong.  This doesn't happen with square tokens for some reason. Here is a capture.
The reason this currently happens is because the snapping is applied sans-rotation. So just like the vertically-oriented bear, the horizontally-oriented one is first snapped, then later the rotation is applied. It's definitely a "bug" but it's just not an easy one to fix. But just wanted to let you know, we are aware of it and that's why it's happening.
Wouldn't this be solved by rotating first and then setting a new top/left corner and snapping to that?

Ah I see, its because the snapping happens first then the rotating around the centre which ends up in the wrong spot on the grid.  Makes sense.  So if I made the bear horizontally he would fit nicely, but then rotated to vertical and there would be problems again.   Good to know.  Its not really a problem for me since in pathfinder everything is square, but I thought I'd write it up anyways.
