Partially dynamic lighting

Hello, is it possible to append the dynamic lighting only to a part of the page (e.g. left half). i was just thinking about how to let my players crawl their dungeon while at the same time I am able to present them some images on the same page (e.g. NPCs, monsters) just to deepen the atmosphere or just freak out my players ;-) Greetings, - Oliver
Hey, I don't know if there is a cleaner way to do it, but this is how I would do: Split your map with a dynamic lightning wall. (Make sure players can't cross dynamic lightning walls) Give some tokens to your players on the left side of the wall. Drop a torch in a corner of that space and give it a huge light emission radius. The problem I would see is that players tend to look at the map in a much more zoomed in way then GMs. So I'm not sure if having things poping on one side of the map during a dungeon crawl would do much as they might not notice it. Maybe I would recommend to use Shift+Long Left Click to ping on the left side, where you made your picture appear. This will not only ping that space but also bring every players "camera" to that place.

You can provide vision for the players by dropping a token that they all control (that generates light and has vision) onto the page in an open area free of DL lines. If you place it on the map layer, it should provide sight without letting the player's move it. You can also prepare handouts with the images ahead of time. Then you can open the sheet and click Show to Players when it is time for them to see the art.
