Pathfinder 1E official sheets resetting characters.

I’m aware there’s a few issues affecting character sheets at the moment but hadn’t seen these specific ones anywhere so figured it was worth raising. This has happened across two separate games I GM on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, both Pathfinder 1E, both using the official character sheet. Wednesday game is using the published War for the Crown adventure path content, Tuesday is homebrew, in case that matters. Full details below, but to summarise: character sheets seem to be resetting or removing various elements (ability scores, class, skill ranks, hp) possibly as a result of the sheet trying to run the charactermancer on existing characters. This seems to happen at random, repeatedly, sometimes just for the player sometimes for both player and GM. There were some issues on Tuesday evening with players not being able to open sheets, these were similar to those that were happening all over and that Roll20 were looking into fixing. The affected players managed to eventually get them open with multiple attempts and switching browsers a couple of times. Then later that evening one player reported that his ability scores had reset to 10 and his class had been removed (along with the spellcasting tab that he had been adding all his spells to). In case it makes a difference that character was newer than all the others, having been created last week and I had been in and out of the character that day helping the player finish it before we started. He tried logging in and out a couple of times but couldn’t seem to get it back. Eventually we decided to leave it on the basis it might be as a result of the current issues and maybe would fix itself by the following day or when we next ran. Then on Wednesday night as we were starting, one of the players reported a similar issue, also noting that he was getting the prompt to start the charactermancer. This was a character that was created some time ago. I looked at the sheet and everything appeared fine for me. Thinking that the charactermancer prompt might be causing the problem and remembering that it can be turned off I had everyone log out, went into the game settings and set the charactermancer prompt to off. We all logged back in at which point all of the players started to report the characermancer prompt and their ability scores resetting to 0, classes being removed etc. We spent some time trying various things to fix this including: logging out and in again making sure only one person was in the sheet, removing player view/edit permissions from and sheet and reinstating them etc. We eventually managed to get all but one of the character sheets working normally, though began to suspect that the issue might be caused by the GM viewing the sheets so I stopped opening them. One character sheet however (again the newest one but not the one that had the initial problem) could not seem to recover. Eventually we decided to continue while that player worked to fill in the missing data. He continued to have issues, the condition window refusing to open for example. In addition while looking at the tokens linked to the sheets I noticed there are now multiple instances of the hp tag. Some display 0/0 hit points others seem to display the current hit points on the sheet. See screenshot below. Other tokens have similar (though fewer) of these duplicates with all the characters now having at least 2 hps in that drop-down menu. I saw on a different thread that Roll20 had done a rollback this morning to address the character sheet issues so jumped on to see if it has helped. The character from Tuesday with the issues is still showing as 10s with no class, skill points or hit points. I also checked and he too has multiple instances of hp showing on the dropdown menu for the assigned token. The problem character in the Wednesday game has also reset back to 10s and removed class, skill and hit points removing all the work the player had done to add those all back in during the session. Frankly I’ve not opened any other sheets for fear of this happening with them as well and making the situation worse. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a good way to address the issue or get back what was lost? I’m not a pro subscriber so I can’t roll back the games myself. Is this something that Roll20 could do if they’ve stopped working and rolling them back might this fix the issue?

A few others of us have had the issue, and I believe it was caused by an interaction between Tuesday's code push and Charactermancer.  Since the interaction executed code within Charactermancer, the purge of character info was instantaneous as though someone had actually launched CM on an existing character - and as a change at that level, it didn't "un-change" when the code push was rolled back. I'm trying to see if there's a common thread within that.  So, a question: what were the classes  of your affected characters?  Or, were there any affected characters who did not  use the Custom Spell Level interface when pulling in spells out of Compendium?  The following are all examples of characters who would need to: - Sorcerers, if their bloodline spells are not on the sorcerer list;   - Clerics or domain-using druids, if their domain spells are not on the class list;   - Core classes using archetypes that grant spells (eg, Eldritch Scoundrel rogue) or spells of a different list (eg, Dandy rangers);   - Non-core classes (magi, witches, arcanists, etc.) As for a rollback of your game instance, I have a support ticket on this, but the support tech seemed to believe that the code rollback actually fixed the problem (which it most certainly didn't.)  I haven't heard back from my updated info on this. (Edit to add: Rolling back your game instance doesn't help.  I've just tried rolling my game back to Monday, and it didn't recover the affected characters.) (Editing to add again.  Rolling back DID help, somewhat: while intrinsic things such as race and class info are gone, the spell list came back when I started trying to rebuild it.  Armor might need to be taken off and re-equipped.)
