D&D 5e Backpack Sheet

Hi everyone. To everyone that have played D&D, we all know it is a absolute mess to organize and look up exactly what kind of equipment you have on your character sheet. Roll20 does help a lot with that when you don't play with a pen and paper, but help much when you try to find something. I have been looking at if it is possible to add some kind of backpack sheet to a roll 20 campaign where you have all your stuff on that sheet, and all combat stuff on another. Anyone know if this is possible?

You'd likely be better off asking the DM for a handout that you can edit... much easier to put tables/lists in than a sheet that still only has a limited area for information. I tend to only put the equipment on my sheet that makes a difference (armour, weapons, magic items with attribute mods etc) and keep the general adventuring gear on a handout for reference. Of course if you use encumbrance rules you'll still need to track that but you could always keep a running total in your handout and just add a phantom item to your sheet with the total weight of all the 'clutter'.

Well. I am the DM. I am just looking for better ways as I do use the encumbrance rules. It should be a dilemma or puzzel how the players should solve looting a dungeon when they get 10kgp in copper coins. I have been looking at other sheets than just the sheet that is provided by roll20. Any that you recommend that might solve the problem?

We normally set up a "Party Loot/Treasure" handout editable by all.  We quickly add any loot as it's acquired.  Include a character name/location for anyone that is currently in possession of the item.  During downtime, the loot can be reallocated, distributed, sold, etc.  Once a player claims the item(s) it can be removed from the loot sheet and added to their character.
