Dynamic Lighting: Bright Light Inquiry

Hello, is there a way to adjust the brightness for "Bright Light"? I'd like to have an intuitive way for my players to see the difference between dim light and darkness. (For both dark vision and normal vision). So I've set the brightness for dim light out to a range and I would like to have a darker range extending past that, so that the player knows what is heavily obscured without me having to tell them. I think this is good for spells that have a range of 120 feet, I want to let my players see when dim light stops and be able to make decisions about targeting an enemy obscured by darkness at 100 feet (for example).
The interaction between regular vision, night vision, bright light, and dim light is still being developed. In the end it may not function exactly as D&D 5e specifies in the rules, as Roll20 is more system agnostic, so vision settings are intended to be useful for a variety of different games. I'd suggest playing around with a combination of different lighting/vision settings, using a Dummy Account to check what it looks like from a player's view in real time.
Well right, but I'm still curious if there is a way to adjust the brightness for bright light. The situation described was simply context for why I would want to do this. And I believe this would be good for other tabletop games.
Gotcha. Currently there's no adjustment for the brightness of bright light. There is adjustment for the brightness of dim light, and there is tinting of night vision. But there are still bugs in the interactions between how those work together (they're not functioning as intended), so it's possible that those functions may give you what you need once they are working properly. I don't think I've seen anything about an adjustment for the brightness of bright light in the future, so you may want to put in a Suggestion for that! :) More options would always be better!

There is a suggestion for this, and here is the link to the last post by Kenton in the thread stating that it would be possible with UDL. They aren't going to be looking at doing stuff like that until the system is stable, so it may be a while. https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/8292069/
Thanks Jarren and Kraynic! A global dim light would save a lot of time setting up maps. It's been a year since that post, and I can understand the wait. I might write up a suggestion, I'm going to take feedback from my players on the current workaround I've implemented. I'll see where things go from there.
