Charactermancer won't complete character creation

Starting about midday yesterday, when I use charactermancer to create a new character, I can fill out all of the slides, but when I hit the apply changes button, the program fails to complete.  I am a gm in the game I'm trying to create the character in, and earlier on March 14th, I was able to create a character with no issues.  I have tried rebooting, I've tried a different browser (firefox and chrome so far), and I've tried a different game owned by someone else.  The combo is a Variant Human bard.  I just tried making a Drow Barbarian, and that worked.  Is there something about the combination that Is the problem?

Update.  Apparently I can make anything but a variant human (even a standard human).  Am I the only one with this problem?

Okay to help others, I have found that it apparently had to do with the feat I selected.  Fey Touched causes a problem when you actually pick a spell.  If you don't select a spell, they will compile properly
