The Shattered Star

Perhaps you are eating in your favorite tavern in Magnimar. Maybe you're in a shop, looking for that perfect long sword, or haggling with the vendor the next best. You might be getting off the dock of a ship newly arrived at the town. Regardless of where you are in Magnimar, a boy calmly walks up to you as if he has known you for years, and hands you a letter: GREETINGS! I am Sheila Heidmarch, Venture Captain of the newest Pathfinder Society lodge -- and the only such lodge in Varisia at this time. You have come to my attention as someone who possesses a certain amount of skill and interests that make you an excellent addition to a highly specialized team I'm putting together for a matter of grave import, not only to the Society, but to Varisia as a whole. Please report an hour before noon to Heidmarch Manor -- you will be compensated for your visit, but that reward will pale in light of the riches that await you should we come to an agreement on my proposition to you. I look forward to meeting you soon! - Sheila Heidmarch ----------------------------------------------------- This is the beginning of The Shattered Star, an Adventure Path by Paizo. I hope to run through the entire adventure. We would be meeting weekly, preferably Sunday evenings, but most evenings I am available. I'm looking for four players, and if you're new that's fine, but I want none of my players to have played through or read the adventure. Any Paizo-approved classes and races are on the table, although I reserve the right to nix any submission. I would like to start the 7th of April, if not sooner. Any questions, concerns or comments, please let me know!
I'm guessing this is a US timezone?
I'm interested, might start making a character now and i'll send it to you. Quick question though, is there a specific time you have in mind? Also is there any sort of point buy system, limits to character creation etc etc?
hi I'm completely new to pathfinder but I'd like to try and get into a game. what exactly is a Paizo-approved class/race? Is that basically anything in the Pathfinder setting?
Jonas L. said: I'm guessing this is a US timezone? I'm in the Eastern Time Zone in the US, but I'm flexible on the timeframe depending on the day. EST, any time in the evening. The day is flexible, though. Peter H. said: hi I'm completely new to pathfinder but I'd like to try and get into a game. what exactly is a Paizo-approved class/race? I'd like to join but i can't really stretch my gametime past 1am on a sunday evening. That would be 8pm for you, is that too early?

Depending on the day, no. it wouldn't be too early. I'm not locked into a Sunday; I put that in there because I've been told that's the most convenient day for a good number of players here.
Id liek to join i play any role i can play any day for hours i live in Michigan so im looking for somwthing to do
Sunday is most likely my best bet as well. Saturdays and fridays are booked and i cant stay up any later during the rest of the week.
Ok, so you'd have to bear with me being new, but I will get the hang of it. I'm pretty flexible for night times, Sunday is ideal. Saturday I usually work. Where/how do i submit a character for approval?

I'm down for playing just depends at what time.
I'm interested in playing and on Sundays I can do 6PM EST to 1AM EST.
I'd be interested, depending on day and time. I'm also an EST player who may be able to play on Sunday evening/night.
I'd like to join. I haven't played pathfinder or 3.5 before, only 4e around the table, however, I have looked up and tried to familiarize myself with the rules and I have a human wizard ready to go. I live in CST so this should work out nicely, I'm available from about 4:30PM-9:00PM CST.
I'd love to join, I have played some pathfinder and am very curious about trying out some of their modules(I'm getting ready to run Skull&Shackles for my tabletop group) but I have not read Shattered Star yet, so this feels like a great chance for me to try it as a player. My availability is good most days except Saturday. I'll play anything, but I'd be fairly likely to play a Bard(Katapesh Actor, possibly a (Kitsune), Alchemist(Forlorn Elf from Absalom) or Maybe a Summoner from Osirion or an Oracle of bones from Geb depending on the group. I tend to try to fill a need and since I've only played Pathfinder a year or two I'm pretty comfortable with whatever. Cheers!
If Sundays, 7PM EST till 9 or 10PM EST is good for you, email me your character concept, and we'll get rolling!
I haven't posted in this thread yet, but I sent you a character concept. Just posting to express interest, hope to hear back.
I'll be on Google Hangout tonight, if anyone wants to stop by to discuss the game: https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/a085cb82a17c43c07215c82e640a10e396f29e35
I have three players, looking for one more. I'll be on Google Hangouts for most of the evening, feel free to stop by and we can get you in the game!
Just curious, how are you putting the shattered star maps onto roll20? If you take them out of the pdf, they have the room numbers and the secret doors marked. Have you figured out a way around this?
