Another Token question

I know this answer, or a least I did at one time. In photoshop how do you make tokens stand alone without a white back ground? Is it layers? For some reason I cannot remember how I use to do it.

I don't remember the exact name, but you need to add Alpha Layer, then delete the white or black.

Looks like it's called "Alpha Channel" in photoshop: <a href="http://www.axialis.com/tutorials/tutorial-misc001.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.axialis.com/tutorials/tutorial-misc001.html</a>
does roll20 use bng?
In GIMP all you gotta do is lower the opacity of the background layer to 0%. I'm willing to bet it's a similar case with what you're using. Another thing is when drawing on any program, make sure you're drawing on a transparent layer. It makes everything much, MUCH less complicated.

Roll20 supports PNG and JPG for sure. PNGs allow transparency (and translucency!).
