Intro to DnD: Learn to Play

I'm a pro DM, and I'm looking to get more players into the hobby. This game is going to be all about the basics; what every new player needs to know about the game and how to play. I've been playing 5e since it hit the shelves, and I love teaching new players how to play. It can be one of the most rewarding and fun parts of the hobby. I'm a patient teacher and understand the feeling of trying something new and complex. In this session, I'll be taking players on a tour of the basics, Like... >How to make a character >How to play roles >How to play the game >Leveling up >What's next Apply here: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/10300723

DryPasta said: Hey uh, I can't access the post sadly. It says I'm not authorized to join. It is because the link is to their detail page and they do not have their game set to be publicly viewable (it is located in their settings page for the game). By default all games are set to be private so the creator has to set the game to be public viewable manually. If the game creator is willing to let a old gamer sit in and learn about 5e, I would be interested if it is on a day and time I could attend. I've never played 5e but have played much earlier additions such as AD&D 1e and 2e along with BECMI (and many other OSR systems).
Hello, I just joined this website! I'm an "old" player of 3.5e and other miscellaneous games, however I feel like I just played for random fun (I was in my teens)... and I am not a native English speaker! I'd like to play more with different people and to learn better new games and editions, so if you don't mind a slow learner I would like to join!
ive been wanting to play a game for a long time now, so im down if there is still space
It should now be publicly listed, and if you could do me a favor and sign up here as well, the seats are first come first serve. https://startplaying.games/join-game/1617125031477x538794791037567000
Hey, is the time also set in stone?
Hi there, I saw that you said you're someone who would want to teach others how to play so I wanted to let you know about D&D Academy, a free new group we’ve started on Discord aimed at teaching people how to play or run the game—including others who are completely new to it and those who wish to improve their game. If you're interested in possibly joining us as a teacher, feel free to PM me on Roll20! - ArborWaffle
