Anyone know why after I updated my Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign all my macros have disappeared? Every last one of them are gone. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
That sounds devestating! According to people who attended the last Roll20 roundtable, they said that you may lose content when you run a patch 'depending on what you did'. It's currently not clear how to avoid this issue.
At this point updating via patch should automatically save a pre-patched backup copy of the game by default. Those of us that have already been burned by these issues in the past know not to patch an existing game but newer people keep running in to it and losing functionality/getting aggravated. -Adam
