Storm Kings Thunder - Special NPC's

When my characters get to chapter 2 and they get the special NPC's to run, how do you give them to run without them seeing all the special information? Do you just leave the "In players Journals" part unchecked but check mark the "Can be edited and controlled by"? I don't want to give anything away by letting them see all the information on the character sheets. Thanks!

If I recall correctly, the GM-only information is hidden in a "GM notes" section (not visible by players, even when you give them control of the tokens). Edit: You'll want to check both "In players' journals" and "Can be edited and controlled by".
