The game will be at level 3, with an emphasis on roleplay and investigation, though you should expect some combat. It should run about 4 hours. The Fishers' Request You are all part of an adventurers guild (pick a name!). Though not totally green, you are still pretty fresh adventurers and get the assignments in backwater villages instead of the cool dragon hunts. You have been dispatched to a fishing village called Stony Shore. Too small and too poor to have a proper town's guard, they've had little choice but to call in the guild after a recent string of strange incidents. Their letter describes sabotage against some of the villager's boats, attacks by the shore at night, and strange thefts. The letter mentions that “they can't handle another tragedy after what happened last month”, though you aren't sure what they mean. In any case, they're prepared to pay the guild to find the culprit or culprits and deal with them, so off you go. Your contact is the town's blacksmith, Frank Delain. Character Creation Social/backstory You are not required to know each other, though you can feel free to establish existing relationships. Each of you should decide why you're part of this guild - money? fame? The desire to help others? A simple thirst for adventure? Mechanical Please create a level 3 character of any class and race (any WOTC sources, including UA, are allowed). Use the standard stat array (15,14,13,12,10,8) and average hp for levels 2&3. You get standard starting equipment, and the guild will supply each of you with 1 of the following potions (choose one): 1. Potion of Greater Healing 2. Potion of Fire Breath 3. Potion of Growth 4. Potion of Invisibility 5. Potion of Mind Reading
