Is there a way to publicly roll an attack action but the description is to the GM only?

Essentially what the title says. I would like to have the name and roll + potentially the dmg of the roll be public to the the rest of  the players but I would like to have the description be only be seen by the DM. Is that possible? Thank you

When you say "only seen by the GM" do you mean "only seen by the GM and the person issuing the action"?  So, if a player hits the action, they and the GM would see it, or if the GM hits the action only the GM would see it?  That's possible: [[3d6+3]] fire damage. /w gm DC 12 Dexterity save or catch fire until the end of the next turn. Having a player issue a command that results in only the GM seeing something and not the issuing player is not possible without the API, a Pro Subscriber Perk.

Is that possible? Yes, with a bit of upfront work. You can use the Blind Roll trick  (using the Stylus browser extension) to create descriptions that only you can see in chat. Here's an example for a Giant Spider: 1. Put the attack description in brackets [ ]. 2. Immediately after the brackets, add this: (#" id="GMHiddenDesc" style="display:none; line-height: 1px;") So the entire Giant Spider description looks like this: [The target is restrained by webbing As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed - AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage.](#" id="GMHiddenDesc" style="display:none; line-height: 1px;") 3. Using the Stylus extension, create a style with this code (you can change the color and background color to whatever you want -- I use those to match the D&D 5e by Roll20 colors and make it obvious where only the GM is seeing the description): #userscript-GMHiddenDesc {     display:inherit !important;     text-decoration:none;     color:#7E2D40;     background-color:#F2F5D3; } Here's what it will look like with and without the Stylus: GM View :  Player View : 4. You can improve this a little bit more by creating a character named 'Style' and making an ability called 'GMHiddenDesc' that has '(#" id="GMHiddenDesc" style="display:none; line-height: 1px;")' in the field. Then for the Giant Spider description you would instead use: [The target is restrained by webbing As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed - AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage.]%{Style|GMHiddenDesc} The benefit to doing it this way is you can have the same style code in every monster description, and if you want to update them all (perhaps changing the text color), you only need to adjust the GMHiddenDesc ability on the Style character sheet.
