UK Gamers 2

I originally started <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/601945/uk-gamers" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/601945/uk-gamers</a>... with the idea of hooking up with others on here and possibly F2F (depending on obvious factors). Unfortunately a number of RL things got in the way before I could respond. Quite a few replies - which is encouraging - and now I am back I'd like to get in touch with a few of you guys. I would have replied but the topic is closed, and the system asked me to open a new topic. I am looking within the UK for gamers initially as the hours to game will probably be a better match. I would be interested to play in a game to get a feel for the interface - though I am often the GM in my F2F group.

Hey David, Good to see you back. There has been a few people posting for games in your timezone (GMT 0 +/- 1 or 2: correct?). Good luck on finding Uk players and you have fun. Oh, I'm not UK but just welcoming you back as I remember your other thread and pointed people to it.

I am from West Yorkshire and been looking for UK game players. Systems I have are Pathfinder, Edge of the Empire, shadowrun 5 and DnD 5 beginner box.

Oh and a Guardians of the Order book which is Tenchi Muyo based on the OAV.

Based in Leeds here! Would be good to finally land a game group that is on a similar timezone for once. Pretty fluent in most of the D20 systems, would love to branch out into GURPS/FATE or any of the White Wolf systems.

Hi all, thanks for the replies. Not sure about system/genre, it depends on the consensus of those involved and very importantly who is the GM. We have 5, which would be enough to get something going. Has any of the four of you run a campaign on roll20? (I haven't). If we are all roll20 gm-virgins, would anyone volunteer to GM? If so, what would you like to GM?

Dont know if i can be of help currently, as i am already running 3 games on this site, but i am experienced with roll20 and many RPG systems, so if i find myself with some more free time i might be able to run another short campaign.

Sending this link to my DM tonight. I am in America but the rest of the group is in UK, France, Sweden. The DM for sure will want to know about this I think, for F2F chances. The rest of the group will appreciate it as well. Hopefully I don't lose my group, but the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one, right?

ok so im in the uk south-wales (no sheep jokes) i haven't much exp in table top but i am eager to play a game that doesn't involve me staying up till stupid o'clock in the morning but like i said i dont know how to play but so eager to learn only played torchbearer

Yeah D&D 5E. It's a pretty streamlined game, quick and easy to run.

Fair enough, not even seen D&D 5E. I have 3.5, and I played the original boxes way back, but not really played any flavour of D&D in the last 2-3 years.
