Hello! This game will be a Star Wars: FFG game allowing players to use Careers and Specializations from all Core Books (AoR/EotE/F&D) and all supplements for careers from these books. When: Wednesdays on a weekly basis. Time: To be determined, but preferred afternoon and evenings. (Based on American Timezones, EST based) Where: Discord will be used for Voice during game, text chat between games as well. Roll20 will of course be our Virtual Tabletop for Dice Rolling, maps, notes, etc. DM Info: You can call me Dapper, or Weevil at your preference! So you can know if this game will be a good match for you, allow me to inform you as to some of my DMing style. Firstly, I am an Roleplay oriented DM, but make a point to be mechanically knowledgeable in all systems I run. I've been DMing various tabletop systems for upwards of 6 years. My DMing style can range from guided-path style tight narratives, to open-world Choose Your Objectives stories, both of which I make a point to leave highly changeable and catered to the choices of the players throughout the game. Whether you decide you want to follow the path to become a Jedi, or simply want to make enough credits to get by and avoid the watchful gaze of the Empire, I'll take your decisions and desires into account no matter the plot. Heck, if you make a decision I don't foresee you may just change the entire dynamic of a situation, scene, etc. Game Info: I plan for this game to be heavily catered to player desire, working with each individual player, and the players as a group once the party has been assembled in order to create the perfect environment for everyone to have fun and tell a story together. I put an obsessive amount of prep into all of my games, and I am highly knowledgeable (read: Massive Nerd) when it comes to Star Wars lore and the Expanded Universe. Though I prepare much, I find that as a DM, being able to improvise is perhaps the most important skill you can have. You wanna play a game where the DM has 5000 words in notes prepared for a given session, only for the party to pull some crazy play halfway through that makes the DM sigh and burn all those pages as fate and luck carry you into the unknown? If so, this is the game for you. How to Apply: If you wish to join this game, either add me on discord at WeevilKnievel#2327 or use the game listing below and put in an application. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $8 per session via PayPal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. How many sessions do you plan to have this game run for, or is it open ended?
So far, I'm keeping it open ended and up to player preference. If the party as a whole decides they want the game to continue on but a player feels that they're done with the game, I'll make a point to provide their character a satisfying conclusion to their story as a way for the leaving player to feel satisfied with their ending. Typically, I do run campaigns that have a defined end to the story, though I can't give exact estimates on how long it'll take to reach that point. Hope this answers your question satisfactorily Darcey!
Perfect thanks! Has a time been set on Wednesdays yet for weekly sessions? Also, I know you are making the game based around characters, but is there any more setting info (time period in Star Wars Universe the game will be taking place during) that can be provided?

I have had WeevilKnievel as my GM for multiple games (one being a 2+ year long campaign) and he is a DM that really, truly cares about their players' experiences. His worlds are full of lore with things as "silly" as cultures of the npcs or history of different places which are fully fleshed out, intractable, and actually important in social situations if you so choose to do so. He is someone who will go above and beyond to make sure that your character not only has a place in the world you play in, but will feel important and enmeshed in it. His campaigns have always had a healthy balance of roleplay and combat and will open the door for roleplay at almost every opportunity if the party wishes to avoid combat. He is incredibly good at setting the tone and a scene with both his words, visual aids (maps/tokens/pictures), and music. He has spoiled me with animated maps, narrative specific sound effects, and handouts galore. I've never regretted a game with him. If I had more time in the day, I'd jump at the chance of having him as a GM for another game. (edit for spelling :p)
Hello, I know I'm a month late to this particular party, but I've been wanting to play one of the FFG games for a while. If you ever get another opening or run a game in the future, please let me know. Hope you have a good evening!
I'm curious if this was started and if there is any open slots?
Yeah we started this game and are currently playing. I’m a player in this game and I highly recommend Weevil as an ST/GM. If you get the chance to play in one of his games in the future, your should! The world he builds is brimming with detail and life, the classic Star Wars feel is in this game as well. He’s a great voice actor too and really puts player story at the forefront of action and incorporates player backgrounds into the main plot.
