15th of Marpenoth, 1492 (Dawn)     As the sun rises in the morning dawn, the party awakes to join Falcon and his small crew for a hearty breakfast of wild game and foraged fruits and vegetables. While at the table, Alatar asks about Falcon's drink options and if he had anything stronger than wine. Falcon looks to him, "Unfortunately, no, as you can imagine, most of the gifts I get are from nobles, and they tend to drink and gift wine rather than anything harder." Alatar, with a slightly defeated look, replies with "damn nobles.." As they're enjoying their meal, Kia turns to Corwin. "This is really good, thank you for this" Corwin thanks her back with a smile as she looks at her siblings. "When we get a keep, we should hire a chef like Corwin" Ivaran tilts his head to her and replies, "Oh, you guys have a keep? I thought you were staying at the Stonehill Inn?" Kia chuckles. "Nah, not yet anyway."     As the group eats, Naisys gets up from the table and decides to get started early by looking for the highest point of Falcon's lodging. Seeing the tower next to her as she exited into the north field, she figured that would be the best location. She pulls out both her immovable rod and her  pole of collapsing . Utilizing both items, she extends the pole until she makes it halfway up the tower before activating the immovable rod. Once she collapses the pole and is left hanging under the immovable rod, she starts to swing her legs back and forth, beginning to do acrobatic swings on this rod to the point she began to swing above the bar. Once she felt comfortable, she clicks the rod again, and both she and the rod swing up towards the ramparts of the tower. She manages to catch a dip in the ramparts, allowing her to pull herself up onto the building. Naisys huffs as she begins to survey the forest around the compound, getting quite the view from up there save for the south where the stairs of the tower block part of her view. She'd immediately notice a dark rolling cloud with distant thunder rolling through the trees, and it was headed their way.     Meanwhile, Alatar heads out of the northern door from the hall, glancing up to see this dark cloud start to blot out the sun slowly. "Looks like we're in for some bad weather," he says, calling back to his siblings and friends. Of which Kia, Briar , Ivaran, and Falcon begin to discuss the battle to come, Falcon informs them of the two lookout locations of the compound being the tower attached to the main building and the gatehouse that looks over the bridge heading west. Briar opts to head into the tower, feeling like he'd be of more use up there than down in the fray. Falcon points him in the right direction, and Briar heads off towards the tower's door.     As this happens, Kia collects Alatar and Ivaran, and they head into the northern yard, starting a small search of the premise. Running out of the north entry, they start making their way around the base of the tower, where Kia spots a massive horde of half-orc anchorites to Talos, making their way up the road, looking quite angry and ready for a fight. "Holy.. shit," she says; seeing too many heads to count from her position, she backs away to the corner of the tower. "Ok, that's a lot of them," Kia says to the group.     Briar makes his way up the tower; Naisys heard him come up the stairway gasping for breath, the elderly elf that he is having a bit of a stamina issue. He makes his way through the door, pushing it open only to find a crowbar fall before him. Naisys set up a trap to scare him. However, Briar seemed unamused by this as he walks across the tower. Naisys, having hidden behind the door, jumps out and startles him anyway. "Gah! Don't do that you want me to have a heart attack!?" Briar exclaims in surprise before seeing Falcon has come up to join them with a longbow in hand.     As everyone starts to try and get themselves ready, they suddenly saw a bright flash of light and a loud thunderous boom from nearby. As the light vanishes, they look to see that  Gorthok the Thunder Boar  appears near the southern palisade entry, belting a mighty boarish roar to which the anchorites yell out their battle cry in turn. Kia watches as the boar turns to the nearby fortifications, and with a thunderous crack, the boar breaches the walls with its tusks, breaking a massive area of the wall open for the half-orcs to charge inside.     Kia, Ivaran, and Alatar all start to charge the small army of anchorites, seeing that it's now or never. The group charges in, quickly taking a few quick hits on the group before they backtrack a bit, using their abilities to disengage and perform a bit of a hit and run tactic. However, they were quickly surrounded by the half-orcs, Gorthok turning to face them. As the half-orcs start to move to surround his siblings, Briar tosses a fireball in the middle of the group of half-orcs, hitting pretty much all of them while avoid hitting his friends down below. Meanwhile, Falcon helps engage with the party as he draws his bow and starts shooting arrows into the crowd. As the party slowly whistles away at the army, taking heavy hits themselves, Naisys leaps down from the tower into the northern yard, rolling to disperse the fall energy. She rushes around towards the southern yard. There, she uses her stealth to sneak into the yard, using the animal pen fencing as cover, and she starts to lob knives at the anchorites making their way into the lodge. Keeping low to avoid being spotted, she flings her psycho blades over the fences at the half-orcs, killing them one by one, which works in her favor as they disappear after landing in the body, giving the invading forces little to work with in figuring out from where her blades are coming.     Meanwhile, the group on the ground continues to get hit pretty hard by the orcs, Kia blocking most of the hits with her shield master abilities; she's able to keep herself from taking too much damage. However, seeing she's being surrounded with Alatar and Ivaran, she growls and lets out an unfettered raging yell, the wild magic within her releasing dark tendrils around them, hitting all the orcs in the immediate area with extra damage before she pulls out her lance and she starts to go to town. Ivaran, in his semi-drunk state, uses his monk abilities to dodge and dip out of the way of most of the hits that are coming after him, deflecting some of them into the other half-orcs around him, so they're more or less fighting one another more than they're fighting him. Still, doing massive damage with his Eku and gourd. Meanwhile, Alatar slices down the ones on his side; using the dragon-slaying rapier, he quickly slashes and stabs at the half-orcs around them. Suddenly, one of the half-orcs charges lightning energy in his palms, and he unleashes a lightning bolt at the tower, hitting Ivaran in the process as he aimed for Briar and Falcon. All three of them suffer quite a bit of damage from that, Briar opting to hide behind the ramparts between attacks while Falcon continues to lob arrows down at the enemies.     Naisys sees the half-orcs are still approaching, noting how many of them still left; she backed away and hid, hoping not to be found as she came up with a plan. Unhindered, the remaining half-orcs start making their way in before another blast of fire hits them from behind as Briar strikes Gorthock with a fireball. Most of the half-orcs fall to this; victory seems assured before they watch them get right back up, still battered and on the edge of death; the southern anchorites continue marching their way in while the northern continue to fight the party. Slowly, one by one, the anchorites fall, get back up, and fall again as Kia, Alatar, and Ivaran continue to deal massive amounts of damage. As a last-ditch effort, three of the remaining anchorites strike the group with lightning bolts, dealing heavy damage to the party and Falcon again in the tower before the party fells them. Three anchorites remaining, and on death's door, decide to hit them with thunderwaves, backing them off a bit while dealing damage to the party. Unfortunately, they weren't paying attention as a thunderous crack of lightning hits behind them, and the see Gorthak was caught in the thunderous waves. With all the damage Gorthak took, that last bit did him in, and Gorthak fell to its own forces.     Kia, Alatar, and Ivaran quickly dispatch the three remaining half-orcs before they head in after the southern forces split off while they were being dealt with. Naisys sees her siblings and Ivaran begin to approach; seeing backup finally coming, she comes out, and she distracts the half-orcs from the nearby stables, yelling about how Talos is a punk ass bitch before running towards the pens. This got most of their attention, as all but one of the half-orcs give chase. As Niasys rejoins her siblings, a couple of lightning bolts strike at them, Naisys quickly attempting to dodge the strikes and taking more minor hits of lighting damage, while Alatar behind her suddenly gets hit square on by one of them. The group rushes in and finishes off the few orcs remaining in the southern yard.     The group huffs, wondering if they were done before they heard crashing and breaking wood from the nearby buildings. The party first decides to head into the main building, rushing into the dining area to find Corwin slain by four of the half-orcs. Angered, the party rushes in and swiftly deals with them. Falcon and Briar appear on the landing above, having come down from the tower to see the battle had even made it into the dining hall. "Corwin!" Falcon calls out as Ivaran looks to Kia and asks, "You're a cleric. Are you able to bring him back?" Kia looks at him, and she gives him a nod. "Yeah, I can, quickly!" Iavaran helps pull Corwin onto the dining table so Kia can easily cast revivify on the poor man. Meanwhile, Alatar had split off as his siblings went into the main building, opting to check out the noise he heard from the stable house.     Making his way inside and up the stairs, he spots one last half-orc bashing the door in with his greataxe and rushing into the room. Naisys rushes in with her amazing speed after the half-orc; seeing he was about to strike Pell, the stable boy with the greataxe, she shields the boy with her body. Alatar, seeing how agile and quick Naisys is, chases in after her. He tries to leap over the half-orc to attack him from the front. However, his hand slipped, and he landed to the side of the half-orc, face-first into Pell's side table. He quickly recovers, and he slashes the half-orc with his rapier, causing the half-orc to back off, looking like it was about to die before some force within him kept him up. The half-orc yells at Alatar, who responds with a swift slice of his blade. Pell and Naisys watch as the half-orc froze, a line of blood appears across his neck, and then the head falling off as Alatar delivered a clean slice through the half-orcs neck, beheading him.
