Hi, everyone.  A friend and I are looking to join an LGBT+ friendly, 18+ game together on Saturday and Sunday nights. We met in a previous campaign which fell through and are interested in joining another. Here’s a bit about each of us:  Name: Socks (He/They), 31 DnD 5e Experience: I’ve been actively playing 5e for about 2 years Overall TTRPG Experience: 5e dnd is my only game experience and I have a decent understanding of the rules and how to play from hands on experience  Combat vs Roleplay: Between the two, I prefer combat over roleplay. I like the process of coming up with a story and seeing what happens with the choices we make in a given setting along with the group, however, My experience with roleplay and improvisation is limited and I have some anxiety around it. Usually it takes me a bit to figure out who a character is as I play them, and of course getting to know other party members also makes roleplaying easier. Character ideas Please just give a few basic ideas of characters you would like to play: If you allow Unearthed Arcana, my most recent character idea is for a Damphir Artificer. He is searching for an alchemical cure to his vampiric curse and to track down the one who changed him and possibly.  Another character is one I’ve played before. Garth is a half orc Paladin (Oath of Ancients) /Warlock (Genie Patron). His mother is an elf and he’s grown up primarily in elvish company. He has a big heart, loves animals and nature. Garth inherits a genie’s curse from his Orcish family and he sets out to free himself from the genie.  Of course this is all flexible depending on the setting, ect… Name: Epic (He/him), Age: 22 DnD 5e Experience: about a years worth, know all the rules pretty extensively though Overall TTRPG Experience: mainly 5e, a bit of pathfinder, and board games like gloomhaven Combat vs Roleplay: I don't have a preference, they're both equally important and too little of one makes the game boring. A bit about me: Really into MTG, runescape and world of tanks. Unnaturally good at rolling 20's for things that don't matter. Also love Critical Role, almost caught up on both campaigns.
