[LFG][18+] Noob looking to have some fun

D&D is something I have wanted to play for a long time. I have had a "session 0" with a few friends but most of our group are extremely busy so it is difficult for us to continue playing. I'm very new to the game and very unaware of many aspects so I would preferably like a group with at least one experienced player as I will likely need a fair amount of hand holding through my first couple of sessions, but I am also open to the idea of us all stumbling through it together. I would love a chill group who wont take the game too seriously as I like to joke around a lot of the time as well as maybe have a few alcoholic beverages during games. I currently work in fast food so my schedule is fairly erratic but with a regular group I can change my avaliability at work to have a certain time off to play. I am based in the UK but often stay up late so time zones are seldom an issue for me.

I am only about experienced as you are but I'd be willing to be in your group, sounds like fun!

I have run through a one shot beginners quest and don't have much other experience, but im so excited to play a campaign so I'm going crazy trying to find a group to work with.

Hello, I'm Alexandra. I am 21, and I don't drink. Alcohol doesn't taste good to me. That being said, I'm fine with people who do, in reasonable amounts. We'll have to discuss this further as I've had some bad experiences with drunk players. Also, I have a "no drugs, no weed" policy at the table. I find that weed makes people sleepy and unattentive, and drugs are simply illegal and not allowed at my table. Medical and prescription drugs are obviously allowed. If you absolutely need weed for anxiety reasons, that can be discussed. That being said, if you don't smoke weed or do drugs, then you are perfectly allowed at certain tables I run. I would love to start a game for you two with the rule that alcohol is allowed. I'm sorry to go off on a tangent there. I just want to make things perfectly clear about my games. I hate people who ruin games for others by not being fully there or being so drunk they can't control themselves. Let me know when you are available, and I can start a campaign. Would you prefer story-heavy and lots of roleplaying or a dungeon crawl with a little roleplaying?

Hi again! Have not heard back from the OP but if there is still space I have another player interested. He doesn't hardly drink or anything but still likes to have some laid back fun, if that's okay..... as far as my own schedule, Saturday or Sunday late evenings work best. 9 or so EST. I dont know either of your timezones so I don't know that would work or not..... ooooohhhhhh..... actually I think UK is 5 hours ahead so maybe we should work a different time slot that would be like 2am or something 😅......  well, provided it's a set day every week I could maybe swing a 7pm (midnight hour UK time) maybe I didn't think this through enough. Lol. Im sure we can work something out.....

Also, since we are noobs, maybe a 50/50 mix would be better unless there is a preference

Apologies for taking so long to reply, I honestly forgot I posted this. I'd love to play with you guys sometime! As I said I work in fast food so my schedule can be hectic but I can probably arrange to have a specific time/day off with my manager so I can play regularly. A late night/post midnight session may actually work in my favour as I'm a bit of a night owl and could do sessions after finishing a shift. I'm not too confident when it comes to roleplaying but practice makes perfect so I'm willing to give it a shot if people prefer more roleplay intense games.

I am someone with a small amount of player experience and a small amount of DMing experience. I'd be interested in getting in on something like this, either as a player if Alexandra would have me, or as a DM if things with Alexandra fall through. Admittedly, if I were DMing, I'd be more comfortable with Pathfinder, but as a player I'm down for anything. My schedule is largely open. I'm also on US east like Kiki. I'd prefer like 60/40 of story to dungeon but again, I'm pretty amenable to whatever. We should maybe try to co-ordinate via Discord, if possible? Mine is Valentari#5219
