Hello all! My name is Matt and I am currently looking for a free Open World Campaign, preferably in the Forgotten Realms although I am open to homebrew if your setting sounds fun. I would prefer it be a stable long running game, I would love to fully flesh out a character. I do not like Modules. I would also like it to be an Adult game (reliable and more serious). Free to play only (I respect those trying to earn a buck but no thanks). I am open to starting in an established campaign as long as its not going to end in a month. As of recently I have that itch right in the middle of my brain that wants me to play due to it being roughly a decade since I have done so. My history with TTRPG's spans back to 3.5/4e, both versions of WoD, and all editions Star Wars. I have played or run many Multi-year campaigns in all of these games plus some other more obscure games. I am a very laid back person. Not a "rules lawyer" or "Timmy the Powergamer". What the DM says goes in my eyes no matter what the book says. Min-maxing doesn't make for fun experience for a group. Life is diverse and a party/player group should be too. I am serious when the situation calls for it and more easygoing when its the right time. My favorite part of playing is creating a group written lore from scratch. I don't like to hog the spotlight. I am happiest when everyone gets their moment making every player relevant. I am not a diehard RP'r I prefer a mix of around 70-30 RP to combat. Strategic situations and planning is my sweet spot (may not always work the way intended...lol). Dying does not bother me in the least I would prefer to die saving a party member and rerolling than having a stagnant easy mode campaign. My Availability is completely Open to any time zone and any day of the week. I keep weird hours normally so don't worry about that. My first language is English. I do have a semi professional studio setup to play in with good cameras and sound options.
