Creating Modules

Can I make tokens that states monster names with pictures and recommend DMs finding their own tokens?

If I made a map on inkarnate.com could I sell it in a map pack or module?

First question: You can, but you should clearly state that in the module description.

Second question: You would need to check the license from Inkarnate. Inquire from them directly if you cannot find licensing info on their site.

I was read a ton of post earlier and I I saw your name on most of them and almost PM you with these questions so thanks for answering.

I read the agreement with Inkarnate and I can if I go pro with them in short answer.

That was my understanding, but only by hearsay. You can also look into open-source or cheaply licensable artwork. I know it exists, also from hearsay.

Actually, Roll20 won't accept Inkarnate maps, Dungeon Draft, etc, allegedly, although I'm not sure they maintain the tightest fist against that rule. And Inkarnate maintains a license to reuse your map however they want, so I wouldn't advice going pro with it.

I'm not sure if they would have an issue with an Inkarnate map being used in a module, but I believe you are correct about their policy regarding selling them as a map pack.

I'll second what keith said. Art in a module may be anything you have ownership of or a commercial license for. Art in art packs (maps, tokens, etc...) may only be original art created by you, not commercially licensed art.
I have both art sets and modules. In my most recent module, Massacre at Writhing Ridge, I used mostly commercially licensed art including maps that I made with Inkarnate, including this one:
