Sheila - Chris M. Paladin Knight – Human – Lord Cromther - Cromth Game Summary for Sunday Evening (05/02/2021): Opening Scene: It
is now 56 days into the adventure (since setting off in the Belle Venture), and
It is now: 6:00 am on September 18th
(Day 48 on the Isle of Dread). The day
before the adventurers had visited a bugbear jailhouse and busted out the
prisoners after dealing with the guards. One of the prisoners was a Yuan-Ti
Abomination, with pins driven into his head to keep him from concentrating to
casts spells. The pins were removed and he was healed up and two days later the
party set out to explore more of the Forbidden City of Thracia. The
adventurers decide to head for the Yuan-Ti Abomination Temple and see if
anything is there to deal with or take. Once there, 3 abomination guards are
seen at the west, east and south entrances. Sheila cast the Silence 15 ft radius spell upon the guard at the
south entrance. Then Camlin fires his magical +1 Foeseeker longbow missing the
guard while Xilicien casts the Magic Missiles spell, dealing 13 total damage
with 4 force missiles! The
party’s new friend the Yuan-Ti Abomination, casts the Polymorph Other spell
upon the YT Abomination Guard #05 and rolling a 5 needing ≥11, he fails his
saving throw vs spells and is turned into a chicken after a successful system
shock roll of 10% needing ≤ 97%! Xilicien
then cast the Knock spell on the door casing it and the inner door to also open
as both are connected to the same mechanism. Walking
inside they see various mats along the floor where the YT would sit or kneel on
and meditate and pray. They spot three abominations doing just that and
another, apparently the priest praying at the altar. Xilicien
decides to cast a web spell to try and snag two abominations in it and ones
rolls a 3 the other a 13 needing ≥ 11 on the saving throw vs spell. One gets
trapped the other is able to get himself out while moving at half speed. Initiative
Rolls are made and Combat Round #01 Begins: Xilicien,
casts the Melf’s Minute Meteors spell at YT Abomination #02 sending 3 of 7 of
them at him. The 3 rd one hits for 5 damage! The ones that miss
ignite the webbing on fired causing 6 damage to YT A #01 and 3 damage to YT A
#03! The
Yuan-Ti Half Blood whom is also with the party, (also rescued from a Yuan-ti
pureblood jail, casts the Cause Fear spell upon YT Abomination #04 and rolling
an 11 needing ≥ 13, he fails the saving throw vs spell and runs away in fear
for 1 round! YT A
#06 moves along the temple walk-way in order to get down to the combat area! YT A
(Party ally), casts the Polymorph Other spell on YT A #02, who rolls a 20
needing ≥ 11, and saves against turning into a chicken! YT A
#08, comes running down the spiral staircase in the center of the temple! YT A
#04, continues to run away in fear! YT A
#07, also moves down the spiral stairs! YT
Priest, is moving to get out of the burning webbing! Lo
Shan, tries the Iron Fist move on YT A #08 but missed! YT A
#03 just steps out from the burning webbing! Camlin,
fires the +1 Foeseeker bow at Point Blank Range 6 to 30 ft at YT A #08, hitting
for 9 damage! Lord
Cromther, swings his magical +1/+3 vs regens long sword at YT A #08, striking
for 15 damage! Sheila,
just moves a bit towards the combat. 2 nd

Shan, Fumbles trying to hit with the Iron Fist move, he almost twists his ankle rolling a 4
needing ≤ 17 on a dexterity check, he was successful in not doing so! YT A
#03, swings his scimitar and missed the YT Halfblood! Camlin,
fires the +1 Foeseeker bow, just missing YT A #08! Lord
Cromther, slashed YT #08 with the +1/+3 vs regens long sword for 19 damage! Sheila,
casts the Hold Person spell upon YT A #08, who fails his saving throw vs spell
rolling an 7 needing ≥ 11, so he is now held in place! 2 nd
