[Online][3.5e][GMT+2] Epic Level Oneshot - Repost

This is a repost. To get a couple of things out of the way, I am here to dm a group of cool PCs and not a band of mini-gods, so NO gamebreaking shenanigans. I am also looking for team-players who are comfortable with char building alone. This is the hook: a group of heroes of their respective worlds are formally summoned by a Planar Sage (homebrew title) to perform a certain task, not specified by the emissary that contacted you. As a DM, I have around 4 years of experience and I tend to do a 50/50 on rp and combat, though this time will be more combat oriented. I'm thinking of having a group of 4-5 players and with 28 ECL. We will be using Roll20 and Discord, and we can discuss together the details of the game. If you're interested, pm me here and we can move to discord. The day is open for now, but it should be at the end of a week (either Sat or Sun).
Greetings and Salutations!  I always take epic games with a grain of salt because I've had SO MANY with DM's that just vanish after character creation. Hopefully, this is real.  LOL I am an old man who's been playing D&D for over 35 years (and DMing most of that time).  I've been in a few epic games in the past and enjoy making the characters.  I do have one hang up in that my characters are often under powered for high level games.  I tend to play Holy Warriors of a martial bent.  My clerics and paladins are always front line melee battlers that buff themselves, and the party, before combat.  I do NOT play "healers".  At this level I believe every character should be self sustaining.   (You are 28th level and you can't heal a scraped elbow?).  Of course, my spells are at the party's disposal any time.  I roleplay with levity but am as true to the core as I can be.  I not care for PvP and I love team interaction.   I am also an EMT and work a rotating schedule. This means that I'll be working every other weekend.  Please let me know if you need to know anything else to consider me.
