Hectors Session Summary. Dear Journal, Hello Journal. Let me tell you, I had one of those quest. I got prepared for the cold water by putting on this parka I bought and headed for Borins Folly. I was in the company of the cool looking goblin dude, Seonbi , and a balding gnome, Burglekutt . I figured I could be the gravy to the frontline mashed potatoes for these guys so I went. When we went into the Forge, there was a little lava river in our way. Me and Seonbi tried to jump the lava but did it at the same time and got burnt. It was the start of sooo much pain to come. I saw Sabrina and Blaze. I hope they aren’t still mad about what happened with the banshee thing at MoD. They didn’t seem upset so that’s a good sign. There was a goliath, Borin, more on that guy later. I’m sure there’s some important stuff that I missed but from what I gathered, a firenewt priest was gonna summon a being that would help us fight what was in the Treasure Room (I think?). He summoned this Huge Ice Elemental. It attacked us even though it was in a Magic Circle. I ran up to cut into it with my Katana, but then I realized something. I was the only up front fighter. Look I may be able to take less damage from non magical weapons in my Hybrid Wolf Man form, but I’m not a tank. I’m a monk disguised as a barbarian. I got two hits in and went down. When I came back to reality, the firenewt priest went to rest while we explored the rest of the Forge. We found a door which Blaze opened. It was a small room with these tiny fire crabs and Blaze had made them anger. Blaze was pinched into oblivion and knocked unconscious. They came for me next and fucked me up. We killed them and saw a statue at the back of the room. It was to some kind of fire deity. Everyone was praying to it so I decided to give it a go. It burnt me though. I think it burned Sabrina too. Fuck that god. We went into a space we walked past earlier. Borin told me to get behind his powerful build. I didn’t really care that much. I don’t remember asking. We saw some tombs. To no one’s surprise, there were undead inside. I went down this combat also (I think). Borin was naturallyway in the back. What a guy. Another statue was spotted but I didn’t touch it. We left the Forge to visit the Mausoleum and Borin left. At the Mausoleum we found a grave with my name on it. I wanna be buried in that grave. Also saw a bottomless well. When I went to use my thieves tools to open the door to the building I saw the Gargoyles. They looked hella sus. While I was finessing the lock, two gargoyles came to life and attacked us. They were fierce. If not for the fact that a new chapter of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8 was gonna be put on the shelf tomorrow, I wouldn’t have had the strength to save Blaze with some of my magical ointment. We all got out alive. I’m exhausted though. I don’t think I’ll be on another quest for a long while.
