Question about rolls and great weapon master

Hello, I was curious, but do the dice automatically take the -5 from great weapon master? I have it checked on the box for Global attack modifier,    From what I can see, it looks like the -5 isn't applied? And if it's not automatically applied, do I just need a macro for it? We are using the default roll20 character sheets.

The '+ -5' is the GWM effect, you are expected to do the mental arithmetic yourself it seems. I would suggest deselecting the global modifier and inputting the following in your weapons 'description' field instead: }} {{r1=[[1d20cs>@{atkcritrange} + [[@{atkattr_base}]] + @{atkmod} + [[@{atkprofflag}]][PROF]  - ?{Great Weapon Master|No,0|Yes,5}]]}} {{r2=[[1d20cs>@{atkcritrange} + [[@{atkattr_base}]] + @{atkmod} + [[@{atkprofflag}]][PROF] - ?{Great Weapon Master}]]}} {{dmg1=[[@{dmgbase}+[[@{dmgattr}]] +@{dmgmod}[MOD] + (?{Great Weapon Master}*2)]] With that you'll get a query on an attack that will modify your attack/damage rolls accordingly.

I see, thanks you for the answer. :) Though it seems to only roll 0's Copy/pasted what you had. Damage also shows 0's on rolls.
Specifically about the ability letting you willingly take a -5 to the attack roll to potentially get an extra 10 damage. Does that -5 come straight off the dice roll or are modifiers counted? Im asking for one of my players who has a +5 to their attack roll for a greataxe (+3 STR & +2 Prof Bonus). Would this then mean the attack roll is the dice roll +5 -5 or a straight -5 to the dice roll? Kabosu token

Sorry, I forgot, make sure to hardcode any missing information, specifically the bit between the ability and proficiency for the attack (and after the ability for damage too): Without that it reads the missing field and ends up with a + + which breaks the macro. Alternatively you can take the @{atkmod} and probably @{dmgmod} references out (but would need to put them back in again should you ever have values in those fields so may as well just 0 them ;) ) Mocaris said: I see, thanks you for the answer. :) Though it seems to only roll 0's Copy/pasted what you had.
