Hello! I am brand new to Roll20, and have never really played D&D. I did attempt to play a couple of years ago, but the group I found was not very fun to play with. There was very minimal roleplaying, and it was mostly combat. A lot of the players were pretty advanced creating custom classes, and races that seemed overpowered. It drained the fun out of me and I was having a hard time trying to learn the mechanics, and nobody would really facilitate the experience. What am I looking for? A long term campaign that has a good mix of roleplaying, and combat. I did enjoy combat and it was challenging, but it got boring fast as there was no roleplaying. I would also love to meet new people, and go on a fun adventure together! While I do have VERY minimal experience, I do have some basic knownledge as I've been able to read the PHB. In other roleplaying games or MMO's I usually go for mages or support characters. I have a few ideas of characters I could build based on the group composition. At this time I am looking for a free campaign, as I am currently unable to afford a paid one. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for reading through my post!
