Introduce Yourselves

Name, home town, family, job, RPG creds, quirks, whatever. You know the drill. (No pressure, though. Share or don't share whatever you want.) I'll start: My name is Kurt. I'm 30 years old, married to Sarah and fathered to Liam. I live in Providence, RI and I'm passingly interested in pretty much everything. I began playing AD&D when I was 11 or so. In high school I switched over to World of Darkness (mostly Changeling with a bit of Werewolf). In college, I spent a lot of time in D&D 3.5. I only played a handful of sessions of D&D 4e, but have been following the D&D Next playtests relatively closely. Despite all that, this is my first time DMing. (Shhhh... don't tell my players or they'll walk all over me!)

My name is Deirdre (Dee is preferred). I am 33 and married to my wonderful wife Gina. I am currently studying psychology and working towards becoming a clinical therapist. I work at Barnes and Noble part time (I am mainly there for the discount on RPG books!). I am originally from NJ, but now I live in Western MA. I have five (yes FIVE) cats (my wife works at an animal hospital, so it's sometimes hard to say no) and two guinea pigs. I did not start playing pen and paper RPGs until a few years ago. Videogames were my first passion. I also play Star Wars X-Wing and Magic.

My name is Cody (I use the same username for most things, but I'll end up changing it soon). I'm 24, and I'm currently working on becoming a Professor in History. I work part time at a local Wal-Mart. I currently live in Tennessee, no wife (Sadly), but I have done a fair bit of globe trotting, mostly during spring break. I started playing D&D when I was 13, but ended up taking a break for a few years when I turned 17 because of time constraints. I'm mostly familiar with 3.5 and I have played a few games of 4, so I'm still getting used to getting back into the groove of things.

I'm a student at the University of Arkansas, studying Physics with a focus on astronomy and a minor in computer science. Aa. I have played in 2 DnD campaigns, and DMed a short, one off campaign last summer.

Hello, My name is Jeff I'm 41 yrs young, I've been on disability for some time now. In my teens I started playing D&D going back to 2nd Edition AD&D Forgotten Realms and now recently 3.5 which I started getting into. Then the anouncment for D&D Next came out. So I've been reading basic rules, videos, charcter creation, ect.. When I heard that roll20 was a site to meet people and play D&D I'm pretty excited to play with you both. ps My head phones and mic came in today. woohooo!

Hi there, I'm Robert! I'm 26, an avid gamer, and have been playing RPG's since the first Zelda Game for NES. I really enjoy reading comics I read some when I was younger and recently picked them back up when the New 52 happened in DC. I like to read and write creative nonfiction and a little bit of fantasy. I'm pretty much an all around chill guy. I've played a little bit of 4e, but nothing past a quick one shot WoW flavored spinoff of 3.5.
