Token orientation origin angle option

dear beloved r20 devs, please implement a token orientation angle so that we can correctly orient a token to face in the direction of the rotation drag handle. this will allow us to use the light emission angle and vision angle correctly. as it is, the majority of character and object tokens with a "front" to them, face the wrong direction. if we set a light emission angle (or vision angle) of 180, then the light emits "behind" them instead of in front of them. likewise, if their vision is set to 180deg, they only "see" behind themselves. by implementing a 0-360 orientation origin angle, we can reorient the art to actually point forward. thank you and much love, -david

you can right click and chose to flip them horizontal or verticle. That makes them face the correct direction.

A rotate 90 would be nice also. As no combonation of flipping will make it face the right way This is most noticable if you are using dynamic light and directional light, you have players with light coming out of one ear.

Hey man, sometimes light comes out of peoples' ears. Don't judge.

Instead of tweaking the positioning of the token, it might make more UI sense to be able to adjust the direction of the sight arc.

Very true Kristin, that would solve all my lighting issues at least :) As it is now, since it was mid game when we noticed it (first dynamic light map of this new campaign) I didn't have time to download/edit/reupload and reassign the tokens for everyone..so we overlooked it as "just pretend its right" and got one or two guys with 'ear light', and their APC truck's headlights was installed on the passenger door for now it seems :P
i do think it'd be very handy to be able to indicate the light emission origin angle too. some of my characters have low light and they put a source of light behind them, for the rest of the party to see, where it won't blind them as they peer into the dark
