Schedule / Location / ETC: The sessions will run starting 6 PST / 7CST / 8EST and ending 1-2 hours later. We will chat over discord, if you don't have a mic you can use a text channel in the discord server, or you can use the text chat in roll20. It is all down to whatever makes you the most comfortable. General Information: I've been writing one shots for a few years now, while they have been played before, I want to get another group to run through them to see if there are any glaring issues that need to be addressed before I format them properly and submit them for publishing. A lot of my stuff is considered acid fiction, with the rest being kind of generic horror. An example would be: A deal with the devil doesn't go unfinished: as legend has it, centuries ago a captain made a deal with a devil to deliver some precious cargo contained inside of an oaken box. Some say a bad storm left them stranded, whispers from others speak of a leviathan working to stop them at all costs, all we know for sure is their destination was never reached. However, their ship has made appearance again, miles off the coast of a continent to the south and the rich and curious are looking to form a crew to investigate. For stats we use 4d6 DL1, we're going to use a mix of milestone and xp based when leveling, we are going to be starting at level 5.  About the DM: I've been playing D&D for about four years now, and running games for three. On the playstyle spectrum I'm a lot more towards role play, puzzles, and atmospheric stuff. I do a decent bit of combat, but I'm not the kind of DM who's going to hit you with a random encounter table the second you step out of town. I think that combat should be important and impactful, not "the second you step out of the city there are just three bears that no one managed to see whatsoever some how." Trigger warnings / Content warnings: Since it is a horror themed series of one shots, it can get pretty dark in places. No judgement whatsoever, if you need it please DM me and I'll shoot you the possible sensitive topics for that week. The most important part of this is that everyone enjoys themselves. If you feel like you can't do this week's session because of the content, again no judgement, you are free to join up with next week's.  What I'm looking for in a player: Please don't be toxic, homophobic, or any other -ist or -ic. The goal is for everyone to enjoy their experience, have fun, and (if they want to) throw feed back at me for the session. No experience is needed, if you want to learn D&D you're welcome to join up. However, you need to remember that D&D isn't a game to be won, but a story that is created and told by the whole table. Your character shouldn't be the party, everyone should feel like they are able to shape the world in their own ways.Like I said earlier, this isn't going to be a constant back to back combat kind of thing, if that is the only way you have fun, I'd recommend seeking out another campaign.  how to apply: Post below, or add me on Discord at : Benign King#6857 and message me if you're interested and I'll get you an invite to the server.
