Charactermancer Stuck in Creation

Heya. Been using Roll20 awhile; problems like this have been fairly persistent but finally we have been unable to work around. In short, neither me nor my player can advance charactermancer past the roll HP page nor can either of us cancel out of it. We have tried multiple browsers and clearing cache.  It is fairly often the charactermancer will hang for my players and in the past I've solved this by leveling them myself or together with a screen share. They are level 10 going on 11. We are in a very heavily modified OOTA module that I imported all of their characters around level 5 from a different roll20 instance. I have added and removed shared books with this module more then once. If we could find a fix before the next session (a week from today) that would be great. Issues like this happen often.
In cases where charactermancer gives repeated hassles, i would (in this case) create a fresh character and level it to level 11. And then retrofit all differences on top of that sheet. The old sheet would then be retired by either renaming or deleting.
So we are trying to do this however... the charactermancer is stuck in charactermancer. We can't access any of the player's character to launch a new character with. This wouldn't be an issue with a low level character where we are just reassembling stats and a few spells... but this means we don't see any of their gear or any of the Bio/Notes page. I've tried duplicating the character sheet but the duplicate is also stuck on the same page of charactermancer. I've tried different browsers. I've tried giving other players access to the sheet.
