I am looking for two or three players with whom to play a game of Burning Wheel set in Blades in the Dark’s Duskwall. There will be a burning session plus ~8 play sessions, with the potential for more if we like gaming together. I’m EST and available weeknights. The game will be focused on the criminal underworld, but I’m not interested in remorseless sociopaths or flesh traders as PCs. There’s room for that in a hundred other games. Go find one of them. On a related note, we’ll set some lines and veils. I’d prefer mature players that know each other but am open. I’d also prefer players that know Burning Wheel or are motivated to read the book. I’ve introduced enough people to various systems to know that “teaching” systems is not my strong suit. We’ll need to creatively interpret some of the Burning Wheel rules for Duskwall, but I’m not into hacking the system. A few new skills and lifepaths and a bit of renaming should do the trick. If you’re interested, DM me. On a final note, I love Blades in the Dark. I’m just on a Burning Wheel kick right and think it would be a good fit for some gritty crime stories in Duskwall.
